This place is so much nicer since it's facelift last year. The food at Brigantine locations has always been good, and it was again. My group was on a time crunch and the servers and kitchen were very accommodating. This is my favorite restaurant in Poway.

The French fries were soggy and cold and the crab cake was ice cold. The steak looked done properly as was the pork chops, way burger and swordfish tacos. Service was mediocre. Waitress has not been instructed how to offer a tasting sample before pouring a full glass. She seemed confused when I asked her to stop pouring so my husband could taste it first.

We were a party of 7 (6 adults and 1 child). The artichoke fritter appetizer along with our cocktails was fantastic! The waiter worked with us on creating a dinner for our son when nothing on the kids menu was what he wanted. Our entrees were delicious and plated beautifully. We ordered cheesecake for our dessert and were very disappointed. It was bland, tough, and tasted like we were eating the display. We notified our waiter and he got the manager right away. The manager listened to our feedback and rectified it with replacements quickly (that were also as delicious as our entrees and appetizer). Overall, it was a great meal and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

Restaurant looks amazing after the remodel! Everything was great. Food came quickly. The halibut dinner is always delicious! I’m glad it is back in season. My brother had the wagyu burger and it went down a treat. The salad with chicken was yummy too. Good wines as well. Staff were friendly and helpful, if not a bit hovering.

The the quality of the food was terrible….even the French fries. Myself and my wife got upset stomach eating miso glazed salmon and the fries came with tacos and burger were soggy. How can you mess up French fries…seriously! Paid $170 for junk. Pls avoid this place, you can get better quality food from McDonalds.

We had a lovely time at the newly renovated Brigantine in Poway. The restaurant updates look fantastic. Apps came out quickly and were delicious. My macadamia crusted Mahi was tasty, but the vegetables seemed like they were an afterthought and needed some love. No seasoning, and undercooked. It didn't detract from the overall enjoyment of the meal though. The scallop dish was enjoyed by two of our party and the fish and chips were a hit as well. Overall we had a great time! Thanks Brigantine, for a lovely evening with family.

Dined at lunch with my son and daughters in-law on Valentine's Day. Service was a bit slow and my meal was slightly undercooked and a bit cool (sat out too long.) My son and his wife enjoyed their meal and I'm glad for that since it was my treat.

Great service and server. Light so low had to use flashlight from iPhone to read menu. All our food was great except vegetable resoto underneath entree was not warm. Decent prices. Definitely would go there again. Ask for Jules as a server

This is my husband and I’s favorite restaurant to take any family that is in town! Also it’s the only place we go for our anniversary. They have the best service and the swordfish is to die for.

The cheese fondue appetizer was quite good. My New York steak was on the tough side, OK, but not great. My wife's pork chops were also just OK. The Mud Pie dessert was excellent. Good service, good ambience, easy parking. Overall, an OK local restaurant for Poway, but not to die for.

Our dinner, and service (Heather) was very good. A score of 4 is top notch to me due to the fact that there is always room for improvement, therefore, a score of 5 would mean no improvements need to be made.

We were disappointed with our food and how long it took to get our drinks. The staff was good as they apologized for the drinks coming late and our salads coming after our entrees. The manager comped us our drinks and desert. We won’t be going back anytime soon.

Lovely, spacious clean decor. Two fireplaces plus outdoor section. Servers very friendly , polite and accommodating. Great meet up place with plenty of parking. Easy to find in this large open shopping center. Food outstanding.
