Le Brigantine, un favori dans la région pour ses fruits de mer toujours frais, ses succulents steaks et ses grillades, est bien connu pour ses spécialités telles que la chaudrée de palourdes, l'espadon grillé et la crème brûlée. We had excellent service, Matt our waiter went out of his way to find an umbrella for us. We ate outside overlooking the racetrack. It was phenomenal. Food was great services. Terrific. Can’t see enough good things about Brigantine.

A large party of 18+ (with several small kids) were seated in the middle of the interior dining room. Noisy and wait staff was only paying attention to this large party. This was an anniversary dinner for us and this was not even recognized by the staff. We sat at our table for 20+ minutes for the waiting to take our order. Very poor decision on part of Brigantine management to accommodate such a large and noisy party at the expense of other patrons. Unfortunately, our last time visiting.

great food and service. nicest people going. we try to go there often. great variety of dishes. i jut loved the crab and shrimp fondue and the fish tacos are to die for. the view of the ocean is spectacular.

Perfect as usual! We were there very early at 11:30 AM. The remodel area looks wonderful Sarah our server was absolutely perfect. The food was great I have zero complaints only good things to say

Brigantine is my son’s favorite and was his request for his birthday. We had a fantastic table with a lovely view. Kyle was excellent with suggestions and follow up. Less than 5 stars for the following: clam chowder was delicious but had a skin on top, as if it had been served for some time and kept warm; mahi mahi likewise was good but the fish and risotto was a bit dry, as if it were not freshly plated; entrees came out well before we finished our appetizers, it felt rushed; Valet didn’t … seem to notice us pull up? I expect them to open my door, they did not. These are small things. We love the menu, appreciate the vegetarian options, and will continue to visit. There is a lovely back garden that would be wonderful for a rehearsal dinner or small reception (looks sideways at sons, raises eyebrows).

Love the Brigantine and have been going to this location for 30 years. They just renovated the restaurant and it’s amazing! Sat on the deck overlooking the racetrack and the ocean. Definitely give it 5 stars!!

I've been dining at all the Brigantines for over 30 years; Love the Del Mar location and the views to the racetrack and ocean. Our servers are always great and helpful; Armando was extra wonderful. Loved the cobb salad and the fish and chips were superb. Never disappointed.

The food arrived cold, my daughter’s omelette was grey in color. My replacement crab Benedict was not very good. The muffin on my husbands Benedict was burned. They did replace my daughter’s omelette with a crab salad that she said was very good.

The Brig's food has always been good, but now with the re-model the experience has quadrupled. Glass all-around so now you can see the ocean, and a separate room with glass facing west and a fireplace. New outdoor area below the dining room, and counter- top seating outside facing the water. Go! 👍👍👍👍👍

Our food was good but the service was inattentive and we’ve eaten at this chain previously. We split a salad and had to split it ourselves and we had to ask for plates. We had to ask two different staff members for water. We were never offered bread so we had to ask, every other table had a basket. There seemed to be plenty of staff available. We received an apology but nothing else was offered

Went here for a girls lunch for 6 for a birthday celebration. Food and ambience was great. Unfortunately, Our server Todd seemed rushed and wanted us to make our decisions quickly from the moment we arrived at the table. (He was asking us for our drink order and suggesting a bottle of wine before we were sitting down!) Don't recall if he ever even looked any of us in the eye as he was trying to get our orders and move onto the next. Overall, We had a wonderful time, and the food was great! But it would've been five stars if we would've had someone who was more engaging. We are typically generous tippers, and definitely didn't tip low ball this time, But often times will go well beyond 20% if we have someone that makes us feel like they enjoy their job and happy to see us.

So excited my favorite Brigantine is opening again! We enjoyed the incredibly fresh oysters on half shell, crisp. Caesar salad, grilled swordfish, and gorgeous sunset view. All delish with superb service. Topped. off with mud pie. Highly recommend.

We were on the deck where the view is spectacular as usual. We were all lucky the rain had stopped. The oysters and scallops were sensational. The waiter was friendly and professional. It was great to see so many friends. It also brought back good memories of when Barbara and I would spend hours working on the design.
