                                                  The food was extremely disappointing. The redfish came out fishy and undercooked, like it was frozen and quickly flash fried with seasoning. Two people at my table ordered it and did not touch it. The lamb duo was inedible. It was so tough you could not chew or swallow the meat, I had to spit it out after chewing a few minutes. The mushroom side dish is not seasoned, it’s just earthy mushrooms steamed.. we had a terrible experience. The waiter never acknowledged 3 of the 4 people dining didn’t touch their plates. Not the restaurant my family and I remembered, huge disappointment, will not be going back. The food has significantly gone downhill.

                                                  Atmosphere can’t be beat - so civil and relaxing. Your business is clearly appreciated and the restaurant is simply charming. I did not love what I ordered - avocado toast with crab which I should have asked for a better description - the crab was in a tartar like sauce and was not chunks of crabmeat and and toasted bread was very hard to cut. My dining partner had the lobster omelet which was outstanding. Lemon meringue pie was also very unique and tasty. I would highly recommend Brennans for the charm and service but clearly ask questions about what you are ordering!

                                                  Beautiful experience from check-in to the bill. Service was attentive and the food was delicious. Bananas Foster was worth every penny. Next time I’m in Nee Orleans I will return!

                                                  As always, the food and service is excellent. The restaurant is beautiful and historic. We live over 4 hours from New Orleans but still try to dine at Brennan's a few times a year. We are never disappointed.

                                                  Simply AMAZING. Everything from the ambiance to the food to the service was perfect. We ordered the gumbo and crawfish risotto for appetizers, followed by the blackened red fish and gulf fish. We left our plates clean. Highly recommend ordering the Banana’s Foster for dessert! They prepare it at your table and it’s so fun to learn the history and have a delicious dessert.

                                                  The food tasted delicious, and the staff was wonderful except for our waiter. He was a slim, middle aged white man with a scruffy face. He acted snobby throughout our lunch making it an unpleasant experience.

                                                  Gorgeous Brennan’s is always special and memorable, with unforgettable service. This visit there was a glitch with my food: despite knowing about and acknowledging beforehand my shellfish allergy, when the food arrived there was a fried item. When I asked the server, she said they do not have separate fryers, and the item would have been fried with all the shrimp and crawfish. My breakfast had to be taken back and a different breakfast prepared. The server missed this, which could’ve been serious if I had eaten it. We still had a nice morning.

                                                  It was wonderful. I can say one of the best meals I’ve ever had was breakfast. I don’t remember who our waitresses was but she was a joy. She made it an unforgettable experience. I hope I can go back to New Orleans again just to eat there.

                                                  Easy to make an online reservation and we were seated at a beautiful table with a view of the courtyard. Our server Rashad was delightful, with a great personality. He made good recommendations and cooked up a superb banana foster. We appreciated the history of the banana foster that Rashad shared and that he made it fresh tableside. We had gumbo and crawfish risotto as appetizers (delish!). So good, I wish both were offered as entrees too! My hubby had the rabbit and I had the gulf fish (trout) almondine and we shared asparagus. All was so delicious! Great ambiance and service. Highly recommended and thank you Rashad!

                                                  Booked Brennan's for a birthday celebration. It was nice, but incredibly rushed. Barely had chance to digest our appetizers and they were setting down our mains. Waiter was very 'as a matter of fact', even though we tried to chat with him in a friendly manner, he was all business. Tried to order a bottle of wine for our mains, asked him to take a photo of our table and he forgot about it/us. 🤷🏻‍♀️. Also, it was freezing in the restaurant.

                                                  Such a fun place to go! Everyone was nice and knowledgeable about everything surrounding us from the food to the decor on the walls and the band that was playing. I will definitely be back the next time I am in New Orleans

                                                  We really enjoyed our night at Brennan’s. The food was great as was our service. We were disappointed that Brennan’s is not adhering to their dress code policies and letting people in who were in tank tops, shorts, etc. It really brings the night down when you’re dressed up for a nice evening out in New Orleans and the people around you do not fit the standard per the websites dress code.

                                                  Having dined at Brennans for more than 40 years, I can say that it has changed and not necessarily for the better. Now there is only dining on the lower level; the 2nd level is for parties and special events only. While meu items for brunch have changed, the only significaant changes are the prices. I was there for Saturday brunch with a party of four. Members of our party had "Eggs Hussarde,'" which while enjoyed by others was, to me mediocre and pretentious. Other appetizers were ordered and they were good. One can no longer order a simple, yet elegantly prepared Saturday breakfast/brunch as in years past. Noise level is very loud. The maitre d' seemed harried and rushed, with prepared speech presentations, and was decidedly annoyed when interrupted by a quite reasonable question/request. It appears that over the years the clientele has declined and the dress code is no longer honored or required. I saw people in shorts , and we were seated next to a table of 6 with two screaming children, which at these prices renders the entire experience less enjoyable than before. Management needs to decide if they want to remain an outstanding beacon of fine dining as they once were, and return to some of their old previous high standards, or to remain as they are now, which is not of the caliber this restaurant is quite capable of.

                                                  The service was slow, the choices on the menu looked great, but when the appetizer, shrimp remolaud, came it was the size of a silver dollar and most disappointing. Our entrees were also disappointing and room temperature. Our waitress was not present and did not attend to us as you would expect. We had to ask another waiter to go find her to take our order. The straw that broke the camels back was when my husband saw a mouse run across the restaurant floor. There are many delicious restaurants in NOLA I will never go back there.

                                                  This was our favorite meal maybe ever. I was skeptical to have breakfast for lunch since eggs aren’t my thing so I got sides: biscuit, bacon, cheese grits, and potatoes. Every single one was arguably the best I’ve ever tasted. Husband’s eggs Benedict was awesome… such a mixture of flavors. The bananas foster was incredible. Reserve this place for lunch and dinner, you won’t be disappointed. We mentioned we wish we had done every meal out there.
