Recent retirement luncheon with my co-workers. Food was excellent & love the variety of great choices. Fresh salads, great salmon blt sandwich with sweet potato fries & delicious pork chops. Angel took exceptional great care of all our needs. Will be back...

Happend to be in the Avalon area and had plenty of places to choose from for a first try. Grouper appies were tasty... and served HOT... and I didn't wait. Oops. BLT salad was good, but not much to it for the price. BBQ brisket w/ grits was more like pot roast... but the green beans with it were excellent.

We both had the beef brisket sandwich and the brussels spout appetizer and the food was amazing. The gentleman who waited on us was super friendly and attentive. We never had an empty cup. I brought my friend for his birthday and we quite enjoyed the atmosphere and our window seat.

It was an overall great experience, especially since it was my first time! The server was awesome, knew to be interactive because it was not busy with great small talk. The food and drinks were spectacular, and it just felt nice in there! Loved it, have to come again :D

Horrible service. The food was "ok" but the service made us never want to go back. I think it was Vicky. Not sure the name of server from receipt. Older lady with big glasses. We went for 50th bday lunch and half way through my order, she said "ok" and walked off. I guess she just presumed I was done ordering. I had to ask other servers for water refill. This was our first time there and our last time. Food just "ok" so not worth going back.

The salad are always very good with perfectly paired salad dressings. We tried the special Coconut Shrimp Appetizer- I wouldn’t order it again as the shrimp did not appear to be prepared in house with fresh plus it was lacking flavor. The spicy sweet and sour shrimp dipping sauce was really good though. The Grilled Salmon Salad and Southern Fried Chicken Salad are very tasty.

Too salty. I’ve eaten at this location once before and enjoyed the care with the preparation. However, this time it was presented nicely but overly seasoned. I ordered the grouper sandwich and it was too sloppy to eat. And it fell apart so easily it was impossible but to eat with a knife and fork. Food came out fast Empty water glass for most of the meal for my partner which was recognized because of the sodium content. Server nice but checked on us once and never came back until time to pay. And I had to put my credit card on the table to be seen. Overall okay but not a place I’d go for a date night. It’s rather a salty over priced version of Marlows tavern.

Our meal was yummy and our table and drink service were fantastic! When we first arrived we stood at the entrance for at least five minutes and were not greeted by anyone. The restaurant was mostly empty and there were 6 servers lingering behind the bar. It was odd. We thought maybe we should seat ourselves? The host never greeted us with a “Welcome! I will be with you in just a minute”. It was awkward We just stood there for a long time trying to figure it out. Another couple came in shortly after us and had the same experience. They seated themselves then were moved to a different table

Food was pretty good. Fried grouper was salty. Scallops and potatoes good, hot chicken with risotto and collard greens good but thought chicken was boneless. Slow wait on our drinks on first and second order.staff not readily available

We had a terrific lunch at Branch and Barrel. Sam our server was outstanding, tending to our every need including my husband’s ketchup spill. We had the Farmhouse burger and both the burgers and fries were delicious. We can’t wait to go back.

We walked into a relatively empty restaurant on a freezing night. They told us we had to be seated by the door that continues to open. When we asked to be seated away from the door, we were told that the reservations tables were “pre assigned” and she can’t change it. You need to admit that you won’t accommodate my request because you could actually meet my request if you wanted to. They offered to seat us on the covered patio that was “cozy” with the heaters blasting. So, we chose that option over the front door. The patio was warmer, but cold as Alaska and not what we wanted for our weekly date night. The food was great, the service and attention to customer’s wishes is left to be desired. In a service based business, we should always strive to take care of the customer’s experience.

Jalapeno Poppers were awesome. The Ancho Grilled Grouper sandwich was grilled to perfection, with big slices of avocado and tomato and crisp chipotle slaw. The fries were hot, and maybe a little more done than I usually like, but still good.

We enjoyed our experience. The grouper sandwich, salmon and shredded beef/kettle chips appetizer were all amazing. The craft cocktails were creative and delicious. We will definitely be back

Good beer-food was very average. Would go back for a beer and a pretzel and go somewhere else for the meal. Disappointed

We’ve been wanting to try this restaurant for a long time and are so glad we finally did! The food and the service were exceptional. The waiter and owner spent time chatting with us and were very genuine. There are several other restaurants around town that they own that we will try as well, and we’ll definitely be back to this one.
