Le concept de cuisine « Wine Country » du Santa Barbara implique une approche « aussi frais et locaux que possible » pour nos ingrédients, avec des poissons pêchés dans le canal de Santa Barbara et des produits issus de la campagne environnante. Came here for our second to last night on our honeymoon. In all honesty we booked the wrong bouchon and did not realize it until entering. The ambiance is wonderful and it’s very charming. In our opinion, while our waiter was nice, it felt like after he realized we had limited knowledge of wines he was less interested in us and his attitude shifted versus our neighboring table. Apps were below average (pecan tarte & Brussels sprouts with Lardon). Our entrees however were much better. My wife’s chicken was phenomenal as was my wagyu ribeye. Overall i think we would return.

Wonderful restaurant with streetside patio, delicious cuisine and great wine list. A minor error happened with our order and the server was gracious and prompt in correcting it. Bouchon is now my go-to place for birthdays and other celebrations!

Our anniversary dinner was fantastic from the minute we walked in we were made to feel special with rose petals and cards and our server, Russ was excellent!!! He made our night and made us feel so special. The food and dessert were simply amazing! Can’t wait to return again. Highly recommend sitting on the romantic patio. Candles and water feature made for a very romantic and intimate setting.

Our first time to Santa Barbara and we dined here two of the three evenings. Likely would have been three for three but we were at a concert one evening. Amazing service and creative and equally amazing food and wine! Should be number one on your list of dining experiences here! Salud!

My wife and I have been eating at Bouchon for over 10 years now. It is a wonderful place to dine in the beautiful Santa Barbara evenings. It can get loud, since it is a small bistro but never to an obnoxious level. I highly recommend the three scallop dish. To share or as an entree it does not matter. How they are prepared and presented is seasonal, so it is a special treat and different depending on what season you go in. The staff is always incredibly helpful and knowledgeable regarding the dishes and wine pairing. Many times we have run I to repeat customers who, like us, have made Bouchon a destination for special occasions or just an excellent dinner for the evening. The Bouchon Cuvee petite syrah/syrah is our overall go-to red wine.

Four of us were there to celebrate our daughter’s law school graduation. Atmosphere is elegant but relaxing, service is always good. While it is a French restaurant, it is quintessential Santa Barbara. Last night is our fourth time being at Bouchon and we have been always pleased with the hospitable staff. It is not noise unlike other tourists’ restaurants in the area and makes a great place for a business meeting and intimate conversation, although we have been patronizing the place for our family dining. Parking spaces fill up quickly around the restaurant and I would recommend to get there half hour earlier.

Always the best service and interesting plating of delicious food. Escargot vol au vent & sea bass for me, steak au poirve , duck breast for the others, nice wine list. ♥️♥️♥️

Really nice restaurant and the food was great. They take their time and the food is prepared very nicely. The service was great and all the waiters were attentive. Great French Restaurant. Definitely coming back!
