Having eaten there before,I knew the food would be very good. We had a late reservation and cafe was fairly empty but then 4 highly excitable sports fans seated themselves at the edge of the bar area and were so loud it was difficult to have a conversation with my dinner partner. She ordered a prize fixe meal and I ordered a salad and an entree. They served her salad and not mine. When the entrees came out my skirt steak was served on the same plate as my salad which was interesting BUT I should not have been sitting there with nothing while she was served her salad. Our server did not explain to me in advance that my meal would arrive that way. However she did get us some fresh bread to replace the rock hard pieces that were put out with the olive oil.

We had an excellent experience! Food was very well prepared - chicken and salmon were perfect! Only commentary is salads were a bit overdressed. Our waiter was so charming and helpful. Would highly recommend!

The chicken in the chicken sandwich was obviously precooked and warmed up. As such, it was shoe leather. For over $20, they should cook it fresh. Won’t return

Four of us enjoyed a recent meal at Bocado. We had appetizers, drinks, entrees and desserts, and we were consistently pleased with the quality of all the different options. A particular favorite was the fra diavlo, which was absolutely delicious and just the right amount of spice. The waitstaff was friendly and very efficient- perhaps a bit too efficient, twice trying to remove dishes which we were not quite finished with! But we were pleased with their service. The only slight negative was that the prices were reasonable for some items, but overly expensive for others. However, we would definitely return when next in the neighborhood.

This is a simple wine bar with simply done food. I went there to eat and talk with a friend. It was fine for that. They had a prix fixe menu for $49 which was a good deal. I ordered steak frites with the steak rare. The steak came medium well.

Food is not good! We ordered an omelet with potatoes. Everything was piled up messily on one plate. We also ordered chicken quesadilla. It was the same thing with everything overflowing on the same plate. Quesadillas mediocre and tasted a little stale. Price was not worth for the quality of food served.

Loved Bacado Cafe! Food was delicious, the service was outstanding! Such a cute spot for lunch or dinner. The chopped Mediterranean salad with chicken was perfect. Will be back again!

Bocado has attentive service except when not in evidence, a noise level that makes it hard for old ears to hear, and dishes that are less than near misses: a Caesar salad that was barely dressed (excellent croutons, however) and a seafood pasta fra diavolo that came with almost no kick at all, though I'd asked for extra spicy, and slightly unforgivable: pasta that was mushy rather than al dente. Disappointing.

I’d return for the sea scallops and for the friendly service. Wait staff took immediate and good care of my friend who accidentally hit her head on a railing.

Nice restaurant to eat at before 92StreetY show. Service was good and Red Sangria was excellent. I had the fettuccine with chicken, tasty , and my son had the crab cake burger which he said was delicious. Waitress was pleasant and efficient Prices are ok. Would definitely recommend.

The food is mediocre. You get a complimentary drink with your brunch entree, which is nice. But the menu is nothing special. Lots of better brunch elsewhere. And for the price point they’re charging, it’s actually disappointing. I’m shocked that this place is so crowded. The worst thing about this place is the noise level. There are way too many people inside and there’s no way to hear someone sitting across from you because of the cacophony throughout the dining room. I was curious to try this place because it looks so busy and popular. I don’t think I need to come back.

Went for Sunday brunch and had the eggs Benedict, which was very small and unexceptional. Definitely not worth $24. The others in my party had omelettes, which were much more substantial and much more impressive. Very difficult to have a conversation due to the noise level.

Went for brunch with someone from out of town and I was embarrassed that I had suggested it. The food was fair at most, tiny bit of avocado under cool poached eggs. No offer of refill for a cup of coffee or iced tea. The server we wound up with was lovely, but she was one of three different servers who came up and asked if we wanted a drink within a few minutes of us sitting down, indicating poor house management. Even though we had a good seat on the edge of the room, the noise was so bad that we wound up leaving to have dessert and coffee at a nearby French patisserie. I won't suggest dining there again.

Very trendy eatery especially for brunch. Food is good, service is good. The one flaw, not fatal, is the noise. On a busy brunch Sunday the noise level is deafening. It's hard to hear your companion talk. They do take reservations which is a plus

Bocado has the best brunch deal where you get a free coffee, fresh squeezed orange juice or mimosa or Bellini with your entree. The food is absolutely amazing and they have so many options! The mushroom risotto and mango avocado salad with salmon are some of my favorites.

I only give service a 4, not a 5 because they kept hovering to take our plates before we were done. I would stop eating for a minute and they would come rushing over to take the plate.
