    I made a reservation over a month ago . I asked for a window table or booth. When we got there we were told those tables were not available . So we sat at the bar. We saw a table available at the window which we had requested . 15 minutes later a 2 top was sat there at the window table. We are local and loyal NRGroup customers. We buy $1000.00 gift certificate every year. I am confused and disappointed

    You can’t miss with lunch or dinner at the Boathouse. Amazing view, great vibe and outstanding bar staff. Management is attentive to quality of the food and the menu rotates seasonally. Every server knows the menu because they even test taste the specials. You do need reservations and the bar is usually filled on weekends. Good news is you can order drinks and take them out to the Adirondack chairs while you wait.

    Boat House remains one of the loveliest dining experiences in Rhode Island. The service, the food, and the setting make it outstanding.

    I’ve been to Newport Group restaurants dozens of times. This is the most overrated and consistently frustrating of them all. Two Caesar salads, overly drenched in dressing, topped with grilled chicken on one, grilled shrimp on the other. Waters to drink. That’s it. The bill? $80. Seriously??? Service was attentive. The view is gorgeous. But the menu is unimaginative and grossly overpriced.

    Fabulous Birthday lunch with excellent service, wonderful food and atmosphere. The restaurant has amazing views despite rainy weather. Highly recommend the lobster roll, corn fritters and calamari.

    Beautiful location and great seafood (I’m an RI native so I know good seafood!) My husband and I like to have a cocktail before dinner on the Adirondack chairs and watch the sunset over the water 🌅✨

    The Boat House never disappoints. It has been our go to whenever we visit our son at Toger Williams University. Best clam chowder and oysters EVER. Service is always fantastic.

    The Boathouse is perfect for celebrations as well as extra special everyday dinners! Beautiful waterfront setting and superior food! Fish is especially good!

    We had a great time. Dinner was for my daughter who graduated from law school. Service was excellent , the food was great as usual. Whole evening was special.

    We were at Boathouse to celebrate my son’s graduation from RWU. We were seated at a beautiful round table in the corner by the water (thank you!!) Nathan took impeccable care of our party. Kind, funny, responsive, attentive and caring, he helped make our dinner extra special. The food and view were outstanding as always! The manager, David, stopped by with congratulations and treated us to dessert. It was such a special end to a magical day. Thank you!!
