    Food here is consistently delicious and presented with emphasis on great service and ambiance. Waterfront location so you can sit with cocktail in hand and watch the boats sail by. Now that summer has arrived you can either dine outside on the north patio or inside with the huge windows opened to let the breeze in. You absolutely need reservations for weekend dining. During the week you might snag a table if you don’t mind waiting. Last week we had baked stuffed lobsters and they were amazing. The stuffing was full of scallops and shrimp. This week my husband started with oysters and enjoyed the cod entre. I opted for the fish and chips and they didn’t disappoint. Audrey provided excellent service. This is a restaurant that won’t disappoint and it’s a great place to entertain guests. South patio is available for special events and is usually open for regular guests during the week. You will see lots of repeat guests and the staff goes out of their way to make sure they greet them by name. Managers are always attentive and welcoming. Great waterfront experience.

    As always, the Boat House did not disappoint. Beautiful atmosphere and excellent food and service. We were celebrating an anniversary and were given complimentary champagne.

    We ate at the Boat House in Tiverton, RI Thursday night for my husband’s Birthday. We shared the award winning chowder and crab cake for appetizers and I had the salmon entree and Dave had the Cod entree. As usual, the most delicious food ever, never disappoints!! If you want a great meal, great view and great service The Boathouse is the place to go!

    Always our go to restaurant for special occasions when we visit my daughter. Have had many outstanding family dinners here. Tim was our server Memorial Day and could not have been nicer. I asked for blackberry purée added to my cosmo and he said no problem we can make it happen. The Caesar salad was spot on followed by a simply grilled cod fish for my husband and salmon for my daughter with garlic Swiss chard & mashed potatoes & lemon buerre blanc sauce. I had the short rib Wellington appetizer with a side of mashed potatoes plenty for me! I have never had a bad meal here and we have been eating here for over 10 years. I highly recommend it!
