The service was impeccable. The food spot on. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal and appetizers. It was a perfect place to celebrate my birthday with my family.

It took 30 mins to sit down passed our original reservation. Another 20 mins to get the order. It took another 20 mins to get the starter bread. Overall, very bad. Oh btw, their steak sucked as well.

Always a great experience here. Parking is 100% an issue, since a lot of park goers use the restaurant’s parking lot it can be nearly impossible to find a spot on a busy day. We went for Mother’s Day dinner and there was a set $65 menu but lots of amazing options and everything was absolutely delicious and worth the price in my opinion.

We celebrated Mother's Day at the Boathouse - Port Moody. It was impossible to find parking and we had to park several blocks away at the Skytrain station. My mom is 80 and my other relatives are seniors as well and they can't walk that far. I would recommend that the restaurant get guests to register their license plates because many people park in their lot just to go to the park. We were seated for at least 10 minutes before our server attended to us and finally offered us water. The steak was dry and tough (even though cooked medium), and the staff didn't clean our table before serving dessert. For a set $65/pp meal, this was definitely not worth it. We expected much more from the Boathouse and will likely not return to this location.

Lobster ravioli was pretty awful. Calamari was meh. Considering how much everything cost - it just wasn’t worth it. Will not be back.

We were a group of 4 that went on Mother’s Day. We requested a table closest to the water. While the host said he could only give us whatever is available, he did pull through and gave us one beside the water. The waitress broke a glass that almost landed on dad. We had to wait over an hour for the food as we watched several tables that were seated after us get their food first. Finally the waitress said there was a mix up in the kitchen. Mom ordered a well done steak that was not well done. They took it back and she had to wait again as they put it back in the grill and then gave her double the portion of sides. The waitress dropped mom’s knife which landed on mom. Thank God it was the handle side that went down first. They tried to rectify the situation by giving us an extra cocktail glass and 2 appetizer coupons. I am disappointed that mom didn’t have a good Mother’s Day experience even though we spent a lot. I know the waitress was sorry but I did feel they should have done more; perhaps give mom a free meal for all the stuff that happened.

Parking is no existent, the park users fill the parking lot. We had to go-to the sky train lot...and walk back. Our 3$ cost was deducted from our bill. Staff / service was excellent.

Overall a good experience eating at The Boathouse. Made reservations well in advance but were seated at an unacceptable booth close to the kitchen with no view. Staff were very accommodating and reseated us to a better spot in the dining area. The server was excellent. The food was very good. I should have asked if the salmon was farmed. It was. I would have ordered something else. We left feeling full and generally happy with our meals.

Excellent food, a new menu, good choice of food selection. Tried the Dynamite Shrimp and Moroccan Halibut. Excellent. Will go again. Well done. Good service.

Boathouse has been our go to place for celebrations. Food is always great. Service varies like the weather. Went to the Boathouse to celebrate my birthday. Enjoyed my Togarashi Seared Ahi Tuna. Cooked to perfection. Waitress was attentive. At the end of our meal she offered me my complimentary birthday Mocha Ice Cream Pie. She literally disappeared for 20 minutes until we flagged another server to get the bill for us. Our server brought our dessert with the bill. This is the first time I’ve experienced a warm Mocha Ice Cream Pie Evening could’ve ended better.

We had a wonderful experience at Boathouse Port Moody. Although it was busy Saturday brunch time, we were seated on time and chose to order from the dinner menu. We were not disappointed. The drinks and food were well presented, tasted delicious, came on time and the service was excellent. The window views kept on giving!

The Boathouse is a favorite place for meeting friends or family and enjoying a tasty meal. The restaurant is surrounded by lovely scenery, and I can always count on the food to be good.

Big disappointment. For a Boathouse I expected way more in the fresh seafood department. I could have made most of the food at home. The calamari was mostly legs and sat on a bed of dry noodles so the actual portion was small for 2 of us sharing an appie. The seafood grill was a basic rice with almost appetizers from the fridge look. Altho our server was great and the view was amazing, I won’t be back

Food was good but attention to detail on service aspect needs work. server piled all the dirty table dishes in from of me, scraping them too....? Please train your service people accordingly.

Came to Boathouse for brunch. First time trying brunch here I got the smoked salmon hash. Incredible! Lots of salmon, veggies and a great creamy sauce. Highly recommend!

our favourite go to for weekend brunch. In past a couple of times the potatos were cold, however everything was perfect on this occasion. service was tra and she was very warm and comfortable. excellent service.

Like the new menu, great service from Tara. Had a couple dishes come out cold but they made amends. Ceviche barely had any fish and was basically salsa and chips for two people that ordered the prix fix menu, we'll skip this moving forward.

Overall great experience. Sad they have changed the menu and no longer offering a lot they once had. Bring back the halibut, 5 mustard salmon and Prime Rib.

We were excited to try the Seafood Tower for two, unfortunately didn't realize all the seafood was served cold (no hot butter to dip the lobster and crab). I'm not a big eater but there was barely enough food for 1 person (not sufficient food to feed two). Luckily we had ordered appetizers. The 2 lobster tails were tiny and only got 4 small pieces of crab legs. We got 3 pieces of shrimp but one of them was to replace the sashimi that we didn't want. Not worth the $105 we paid. We've had other dishes and have always enjoyed the food there. Won't be ordering the Seafood tower again. Waitress was great and gave us a free crème Brule with a little candle for my birthday. Very thoughtful and kind. We love the location and atmosphere is always pleasant. We will be back.

We love this place. Our server was fantastic. It’s a little pricey for everything but the food is really good. Unfortunately asked for medium rare tenderloin and it came rare. After refire the steak didn’t taste to good.

Valentine's day dinner, very disappointing. I ordered the mixed seafood grill, salmon came over cooked as well as the2 prawns/1 scallop skewer. The skewer was so overcooked the prawn was probably half the size it should have been. Zach our server brought me another salmon filet it was better, but no sauce that it should have had. Our cheese cake was stale to the point the edges were discolored. Our appetizers came, two minutes later the meal came. I commented on why the rush, she ignored me and acted like she didn't speak English. We were seated and in our car within an hour. The restaurant was less than half full, weird considering it is usually the busiest day of the year for ALL restaurants, we used to be in the restaurant industry. Seafood restaurants should not be pre-grilling skewers ahead of time, it only takes a few minutes to grill seafood regardless what it is. The caesar salad was the highlight, it was presented well, but ZERO garlic in the dressing, which is odd because the dressing should have garlic in it. I ordered a sangria with less ice, I don't like watered down drinks, the sangria showed up with glass half full of ice, good thing I asked for half ice. This was our first time at this location, and definitely will be our last. Few weeks ago, Dineout 2024 menu was $65 with the same items on the Valentine's menu and allot more to choose from. The Valentine's menu was only a few choices at $80, at most the meal was worth maybe $40 at best.

I thought the old fashioned could have been better. No classic feel to it at all. No big ice cube. No ice at all. Came in a stemmed glass. It need work.
