We take extreme pride in our restaurant and in 2004 expanded into off-site catering with the goal of providing the same quality and consistency to our off-site events as we do in-house. There are no hidden costs, ‘convenience fees’ or fine print.

The Blue River Bistro can accomodate up to 70 seated guests for a full restaurant buyout or up to 125 for a standing cocktail party. Partial buyouts can accommodate up to 45 for a sit down dining event or up to 60 for a cocktail party. When weather permits, our patios increase our total capacity by 30 seats and 50 guests standing.

The experience matched the food-both excellent as always. The chef is incredible and the team is top notch-from the managers, to the bartenders to the awesome servers. We have been dining here for 7 years somewhat regularly and have never had a bad meal or anything other than great service.

While it's difficult to rate our favorite place to dine in Breck, BRB is always a front runner. Excellent service, food offerings, and drinks can be expected. Great job, folks. Only wish PM Pete had been there.

Knocked it out of the park again! You can’t go wrong no matter what you order, it’s all DELICIOUS! We had the Scallop special and Beef Tenderloin, both perfectly prepared and delicious. Our service was wonderful and great ambiance.

Wonderful service our server Pat was funny and not over talkative, gave great suggestions. Food was really good, we were so glad to be there. Loved the sauce with the Calimari. Could have been a bit more tender. Salmon was cooked to perfection. My wife wanted more spatzle with her short ribs because it was so good.

The food was delicious, our waiter was great, and we enjoyed the classical band that was playing. Highly recommend eating here when in Breckenridge.

Visited April 2024. Ambience wasn’t anything special and tables were close together, but the food was outstanding. Wife got salmon, I got short ribs. We started with special appetizer which was filet meatballs. All of the dishes were surprisingly good. Cocktails were interesting and good. Looking forward to going back next year.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Breckenridge We come back every year and the food & service are consistently amazing. Would definitely recommend! Last night I had the salmon which was unbelievably delicious, my husband had the ahi tuna special and my daughter the tenderloin. Everything was perfectly prepared

Excellent dining experience as usual. Only reason I didn't give all outstanding is our seating for 6 adults was cramped.

Appetizer was delicious other than being a bit salty. Elk rack entree was very gamey tasting and overpriced. Tenderloin entree was overpriced and taste was bland and did not have a good flavor. It looked decent but lacked flavor. Very good service and ambience but is just not that great food wise. Would not return.

Bit too noisy making it difficult to hear guests at my table. Escargot was salty but otherwise tasty. Suggest “fancier” bread to be used for dipping (appeared to be basic loaf bread slices cut into quarters and barely toasted).

Jessie was our waitress and she was FABULOUS! Very attentive, explained the specials with such wonderful description, friendly, and did not hurry us. The Food is TOP-NOTCH, we have been coming here for years and the NEVER disappoints!!

Delightful venue and truly professional servers! Nice drink menu and the food menu is very creative. The cashew/honey baked Brie appetizer is super. Our whole experience was wonderful, except for one little thing…no, I take that back - overcooking a nice piece of fish is a big thing. Maybe just don’t order the fish if that is their standard. Overall, recommended.

Mediocre food. Service was great but the food was just boring. We got the scallops (special) appetizer and and the baby back ribs appetizer and they were both cold. My husband got the tenderloin and he said it was good but my paella was the worst I’ve ever had. My son’s sausage and penne pasta was Not worth the money. Don’t waste your time or money.

We love Blue River Bistro but this time was not a fantastic experience. Specially service was way below what we have experienced over the last 7 years (we come every other year to ski).
