Always please at this restaurant, and our service was excellent, Nina R #1017 was polite, kind, and always checked on us, which I appreciate. Also took her time to answer my questions.

Really good food and comfortable environment. Service was nice. Just didn’t enjoy the actual table we received…it was 1/2 booth, 1/2 table. I requested a proper table and chairs but settled for what was given. Will not do that again.

We ordered two medium rare prime rib dinners. After waiting for over half hour, they came beyond well done. We told the waitress and she told us that is all what they have left. She did ask if we want to get something else. We said no since we didn’t want other people to wait for another 30 minutes. We also ordered the salmon and it was also overcooked. After finishing the main course, we have to wait 15 minutes for desert. The mountain fudge cake was good!

The server was rude, served us the wrong order. When my husband question her why the steak is small this time (we always order the same item), her reply “IT’S CORRECT SIZE, THEY WEIGHED IT MAYBE BECAUSE IT HAS MORE FATS” and left immediately ignoring my husband who was handing her the used side plates. My husband also ordered another glass of wine which was never served. She came back but didn’t even look at my husband but instead asked my son in law if he needs anything else. She never came to ask how’s our meal. Second time she came back, she ignored again my husband and all of us noticed her being hostile towards my husband. When my daughter asked for the bill, my husband told the server, that his second glass of wine was not served and her reply was “IT’S WAITING FOR YOU AT THE BAR”. The worst part is when we got the bill, we were overcharged by 1 prime rib (we only ordered 2 but she charged us 3) and a glass of wine that was never served. When we question the bill she made a new one and took the wrong one and threw it. My husband went to speak to the Manager who was nice enough to apologize and offer a discount (which my husband told him that we’re not asking for discount) but the Manager made an excuse that they were busy and I even heard him saying “nobody’s perfect”. We always come to this particular branch since we always get good service and food, but this night’s experience ruined our Mother’s Day celebration.

Great leadership. The entire team runs like clockwork to provide a lovely atmosphere and overall experience. Food was predictably superb.

Although we made a reservation through OT, we checked in on time and had to wait almost 30 minutes to be seated in a booth we requested on reservation. The booth seats were dirty, which we asked to be cleaned and left wet to sit on. We had to use our fabric napkin to dry. The server gave good service. One menu was soaked inside which server replaced for us. Steaks were ordered according to the menu guide but my 14 oz NY steak was returned for being overcooked and the 8oz filet was cooked correctly. I slowly ate the baked potato while waiting for correction. Steak was replaced with correct temperature however, the meat was low quality and not worth the visit. Broccoli was undercooked and tasted like it was prepared in the artichoke water. The only acceptable experience was our experienced food server. We will not eat at the Whittier location again. The Torrance location provides better quality hosting, menu and food quality.
