This has been a favorite of ours for years, but recently (last 5 visits) it has been inconsistent at best. Last Tuesday was the last straw. We had a reservation for 7 at 7:30 and were seated at 7:20, good. We were greeted by our server about 5 minutes after seating but were not ready to order yet. then it was another 25 minutes for another chance to order. Our order went in at 7:57. We ordered appetizers (Potato Skins), but did not note how long that took, but it was a while. When they arrived, they were overcooked and almost burnt. Our entrees did not arrive until 9:20. We ordered 6 cooked to order entrees and five of them were very overdone, one was remarkedly underdone. It was too late, and we were too hungry to send them back for who knows how long so we just ate them. Desert was included but took another 20 minutes after we were able to order. It was about 10:20 when we finally finished. Guess we need to start looking for an alternative in the area. It was an unacceptable experience for the prices charged.

Outstanding service by Sean. Very accommodating and friendly - making sure everything we ordered was excellent. Appetizers and dinners were delicious.

Very helpful support staff; service was fast, however toward the end, the service was slower.

We were greeted by the front desk staff and were asked if we had a reservation. We arrived a bit early, so we had to wait about 15 min. Once seated our server came to our table with a pleasant attitude and made sure our dining experience was good.

Food as usual was great. For first time service was lacking. The gentleman was nice but didn't even acknowledge us after we arrived even though he was serving people in front. That was how the evening went. We figured he was new or possible serving other people, but a "be with you soon" would have gone a long way.

Black Angus is always good..last night was no different! Listen that crab and potato cake is slap yo mama good..I really hate that I forgot my server's name but he was great.. funny.. and very welcoming! My food was delicious and so were my drinks.

My wife and I dined at Black Angus on May 25, to celebrate her birthday and took the combo for $69 with New York Stip Stake. The meet was extremely fatty and over-salted. No one with reasonable attitude towards health would buy such a fatty meet at the store, but we had to eat it at the restaurant. We could only eat a half, took the rest home but had to clean it from the fat, removing 1/3 of the volume. The birthday special cookie prepared at the restaurant was so sweet that we just threw it away at home. I would not recommend this place to anyone caring for their health. The only good thing there was the service, hopefully the tips went directly to Sean.
