Amazing food - the tastiest meal I have eaten for a long time. Very friendly and attentive staff without being overbearing- at hand when you needed attention. £67.50 for 2 courses cooked to perfection and a bottle of wine inclusive of service charge - amazing value. Will definitely be going back there soon!

Definitely recommend this restaurant . Great food with fabulous service and banter from Eugen .Will definitely be visiting again on our next trip to Liverpool next season .

Busy, friendly resturant. Staff are attentive and chatty. We had a bit of a wait but it was a Saturday evening. Food was delicious.

We have a cousins get together here every few months and I make separate visits myself. Staff are always welcoming and attentive but not obtrusive. The new menu is excellent giving freedom of choice and the chance to try different things well done

Excellent friendly and efficient service- treated us to a glass of Fizz as it was our 50th Wedding Anniversary- a lovely surprise. Great food, generous portions and good value

Booked lunch to celebrate joint birthdays. My first visit here. Absolutely first class from start to finish. Service was outstanding. Shout out to our waitress. I think her name is Lauren. She couldn’t have been more helpful. She even let us have a taster of the wine before we chose it. Red for me, white for my friend! I’ll definitely be returning!

The food was gods, tasty and well presented, however, was not served hot. Rather, it was luke warm. Spoiling the experience. Despite being a Friday evening, the restaurant was almost empty, with only 4 tables occupied at 8pm. That left the ambiance and atmosphere very dull, quiet and boring. A real shame.

Sad decline of a once great, reliable restaurant. Service is slow but ok, staff are friendly enough. Considering the small menu food was disappointing. Small portions, lack of flavour, kids menu was particularly poor with no vegetables offered. Kids roast? We won’t be back

Really enjoyed my dinner at Bistro Franc. It was relatively quiet on a wet Tuesday evening, but still felt warm and cosy. I had the mushrooms, followed by an outstanding melt in the mouth steak, accompanied by a nice glass of St Chinian Syrah. The waitress was lovely, really friendly and helpful, so a good experience all round

Staff very very helpful and friendly . Had chicken for the main it was well presented as were the vegetables . Had soup for a starter it was a bit thin . Friend had a different starter which was fine . Overall good value for the money

Unfortunately when our meals arrived they were warm but not hot as were the vegetables. In normal circumstances I would recommend this restaurant but not on this occasion

We arrived and were told they had no reservation for us. However found us a table. They had run out of Sunday lunches and only had a very limited menu available. We left and ate elsewhere.

Have eaten many times with friends at Bistro Franc and the others in the Bistro chain in Liverpool. Very good food and excellent value for a 2 or 3 course meal for lunch or early dinner.

Went on a Thursday night not too busy Food was good , the service was very quick And the staff very pleasant. The house wine was quite good. Only one complaint there was no cucumber to go in the Hendricks gin😂

Good atmosphere taking into consideration of the restaurant being busy we had to wait a period before staff appeared to take orders for both drinks and food may I suggest that dedicated bar staff be utilised for tending drinks whilst other staff are dedicated to oversee food.

I have visited Bistro Pierre in Liverpool several times and raved about the food, ambiance and service. A table for lunch wasn't available at Pierre, so I thought Bistro Franc would be as good. It wasn't. The portions were *tiny*, even for lunch. HALF an already *very* small smoked mackerel filletfor a starter - REALLY?!?!? The mains of chicken and sausages were small, bland and uninspiring. Dessert portions were larger but also lacking flavour. Accompanying vegetable medley was fresh and well cooked - not overdone. Even the coffee was a disaster - the first cup overpoweringly strong and the second replacement cup only a little less strong and still bitter, not creamy and smooth, as cappuccino should be. Undrinkable. I had wanted this to be a lovely lunch particularly because I was visiting from Canada for only a short period and I had travelled from North Wales that morning to see my friend on the only opportunity I had. What a shame that it really didn't at all live up to my previous great experiences at Bistro Pierre. I appreciate the lunch vite is inexpensive, but really, if you cannot create a decent 3 course lunch for that pricepoint, don't bother to offer it.

Menu on the day was acceptable for 4 adults but starters did come wrong but this was sorted,mains were on the whole ok,the banoffee cheesecake was very impressive but the chocolate tarte with berries was I'm sorry to say a disgrace! Company saved the day today,sorry to say we were a bit disappointed.

Very disappointed having eaten a couple of years ago at another branch and loved it. Starter of fish soup excellent, then downhill from there. The salmon fusilli main was one of the blandest dishes I have had (can't say tasted, as that would suggest taste) and I had to call a server for black pepper, which made little difference! The chocolate desert was okay, but not inspiring in either looks or taste. Two of our table of four enjoyed their meat dishes. My cousin, like myself , made the mistake of ordering the same main as myself. I suggest the chef didn't taste this dish! Bread good. The wine was reasonable both in price and taste. Maybe going at late lunchtime accounted for the lack of ambience.

Great service in a relaxed atmosphere. It is a perfect for meeting up with friends. The food was very good and reasonably priced. I will definitely go again.

I booked on line,when we got there they had no booking on their screen,but there were some free table,so all was good.It took a while to be served ,it was worth waiting,sunday roast was lovely.The only thing to spoil it was the awful weather,not your fault.Will definitely be back,this was about our 10th visit to the Bistro's ,we've tried them all but this is our favorite.

We went for the lunch set menu of three courses. The price was £3 extra than the usual deal because it was father's day, which was a little annoying as it was the same food. There are lots of good options for meat eaters and usually one veggie option. Usually I really enjoy the veggie option but this time the asparagus and poached egg starter was really small, and veggie filled pancake was a little lackluster. The dessert was absolutely delicious! Overall I would recommend Bistro Franc as I've eaten many great meals here.
