Phenomenal. Can’t believe this is a one man show. I HIGHLY recommend the Bistro Barbes tasting menu experience. Oh my gosh that duck…

I eat at a lot of nice restaurants, and this was one of the very best meals I have ever had. The food was incredible - I wish I had taken pictures of it all! I probably would not have chosen the dishes from a menu, so the fixed menu helped expand me, and the food was absolutely divine. We loved the intimate setting and interaction with Jon, who does everything himself. A unique and very special dining experience. Will definitely be back!

Fantastic food, wine (do the pairings), and service. A wonderful experience all around. That it's possible to score a reservation on reasonably short notice at such a unique place in a major metropolitan area qualifies Bistro Barbes as an extremely well-kept secret. Go for it while it stays that way.

Don’t sleep on this wonderful spot in Park Hill! Chef Jon does an amazing prix fixe menu of seasonal items with some creative and lovely wine pairings. He literally does it all! My bestie and I loved our dinner experience and are already making plans to come back this summer.
