Qu'est-ce qu'un Bettolino ? En Italie, on retrouve des Ristorante's, des Trattoria's, des Osteria's, des Pizzaria's et bien plus. Il s'agit d'établissements où l'on sert des repas, tous de nature différente les uns des autres. Avant la création de ces établissements, il y avait les Bettolino's. Imaginez-vous en l'an 1600, que vous êtes un voyageur errant de ville en ville, en Italie. Vous arrivez dans un petit village. Dans le village, il y a des maisons, des commerces et un Bettolino. Vous avez faim, donc vous entrez dans ce dernier. L'endroit est animé et rempli de gens, on peut entendre le bourdonnement des conversations et sentir l'odeur des mets fraîchement cuisinés. Le propriétaire s'approche de vous avec une grande coupe remplie de vin et une assiette de nourriture chaude. Les propriétaires s'appliquent à reproduire cette même sensation auprès de leurs clients lorsqu'ils franchissent la porte de leur établissement. Aujourd'hui, les Bettolino's ont disparu en Italie, mais la petite entreprise familiale Bettolino, dans le Riviera Village, perpétue la tradition qui veut que l'on serve de la nourriture et des boissons délicieuses accompagnées d'un service chaleureux.

From the minute we sat down we felt rushed by our server. I brought clients and they noticed it right away as well. It was awful. We were trying to have a relaxing business dinner - and felt rushed the entire time. I finally asked her at the end of the meal - are you in a hurry for us to leave? She said yes - I am about to go on overtime and I need you to pay your check. We arrived at 7pm and were out by 9. Will never go back!

We can walk to this restaurant and go frequently. I think this is the best restaurant in the Village. The food is consistently good, the service always spot on and the ambiance is nice, either inside or on the heated patio. The food isn't fancy or fussy. It's Italian without pretention. They also take and honor reservations and allow reasonable substitution on menu items.

My husband, son and I had a wonderful dining experience at Bettolino Kitchen on Mother's Day. Though it was crowded the service was good and our food was delicious. My husband and I had the eggplant parmigiane and my son had the salmon.

Our server was polite and responsive. The food was tasty and the overall ambience was festive. They have a good selection of dishes and wine. The staff is friendly and welcoming. One suggestion that would go a long way to help customers pay their bills more easily and securely is for the restaurant to adopt handheld devices that allow the customer to pay using Apple Pay at the table. Use of Apple Pay in Europe is ubiquitous and not the exception. Swiping your credit card is not a secure way to pay your bills.

This was my first time and I enjoyed myself, service was a bit slow and not that attentive but I will chalk that up due to it being Mothers Day..the food was excellent and I will definitely be back to try new dishes..

Ordered eggs Benedict and the eggs were not poached. I think they were cooked that way but way over cooked like a hard boiled egg.

I had the betto box for brunch, which was a sampler of 4 different brunch offerings. All were excellent, and just the right amount for a good sampling. I will do it again!

Always delicious food, the heart of palm salad was delicious as were all the pasta dishes. The calamari is always our favorite starter not to mention the bread! Great Mother’s Day brunch!

2nd time at Bettolino and I swear there isn't anything on the menu that is bad. It's all fantastic. The Halibut stood out as my favorite entree, and the cannoli cheesecake was so good I almost got a second. Can't wait to celebrate another meal there. You've gotta go check em out!!

Delightful Dinner at Bettolino's As Usual. Pistaschio-encrusted Halibut was stellar, the bucatini lobster was good. Service by Richard superb.

One of our favorite go to’s in our neighborhood. This time out the service was not as good as in the past, got a couple orders wrong or forgot completely. Asked for light sauce on pesto pasta, it seemed like it was double sauce, to their credit they took off the bill. They offered to remake it but my wife decided by that time that she wasn’t hungry anymore. My bolognese was a little flat, flavor wise. My only other suggestion is that they should revamp the menu and add some new items, there are many regulars there and I think it would behoove them to mix it up a bit. Still, will be back to hopefully see some minor adjustments. Had many a great meal here!!

We had an outstanding evening with never been disappointed coming here and last night we had the pleasure of having John as our waiter, which reminded us of being in New York City. He's got that great accent and excellent hospitality.

Okay so, 4pm isn’t your normal dinner time but, no one was there. Focaccia bread and some wine to celebrate my birthday week. I had the Branzino which is sea bass on farro with fried spinach. She had a vegetarian maybe vegan meal called Farrata. It had arugula, farro, pesto and avocado and more. My dinner picture is slightly eaten cause I was hungry. After dinner, I had a chocolate craving so, I had the flourless chocolate cake with vanilla sorbet. Date night was a success and still getting it done.

It feels like the quality control on their food has become inconsistent. We are frequent customers and what we hoped was once or twice isolated occurrences has become a trend. We have also noticed they are trying to pack more people in which is impacting their service. They are also losing their personal touch. Twice now we have gone in for birthdays and we had to remind them each time even though it was stated in advance of reservation. Finally they unexpectedly changed their happy hour which used to end at 6pm to now and at 5:30pm. We hope they work on these minor improvements. Especially food quality and service which used to be outstanding.

All I have to say is, Chad. He was amazing and probably the best waiter I have had serve us. It was our wedding anniversary and he and the rest of the team made it very special for us. We will definitely be back, as long as Chad is serving us.

We had a great dinner with some great food! The service was awesome and Chad our server was awesome. We had him serve us before and his attention to detail and knowledge of the food and drinks is amazing! Definitely can’t wait to come back again!

Our party was celebrating a 60th birthday and Bettolino didn’t disappoint. The food and cocktails were delicious and the service was outstanding! The Betto Booth photos are also such a great way to remember a fabulous evening with family. Thank you!

Our server Marian was fantastic. Food was delicious (chicken and waffle and pesto chicken pasta!). Fig bourbon cocktail was wonderful. We had a very enjoyable brunch and will be back again! (Only one tiny thing, the bathroom could’ve been a smidge touched up, but that could’ve been the patron before us that used it).

Food was very good. Service excellent. I had eaten here in the past when it was a different restaurant and that one was very noisy. Too noisy to talk at times. I did not like that restaurant because of the noise. We ate outside last night and noise level was OK. I did walk inside and it looks like they’ve done things to absorb the sound. So noise level probably under control. Dinner was very enjoyable and we will come back.

It was my husband & my first time to visit here. We had reservations and place was pretty busy. We decided to sit at bar instead of outside in front by parking lot. The bartender was extremely busy & bar sink had an odor that wafting up so we moved back to outside table to get better service & avoid the slight smell. The service was good outside but the food was very underwhelming. I think just some flavor needs to be added. I had meat sauce fettuccine with light cream tomato sauce. It was not good but at least pasta wasn’t overcooked. My husband had the fish and the fish was ok but again nothing spectacular. I would say my pasta needed some garlic and spices to pep it up and I think it would be better.

Always the classics and some unique takes on classics. The menu will change depending on what is in season and available at their standards. The take on carbonara adding shrimp is fantastic. Rich creamy with chunks of bacon and shrimp, absolute favorite. It’s always hard to chose from their menu, and we find ourselves pleasantly surprised if we try a new dish to “give it a try”. Great cocktail list as well. Reasonably priced for the quality of food. Forgot to ask if they have a corkage fee. Will update. This place is our go to for date nights and going out with friends.

Once again, an incredible experience! Staff was exceptionally attentive, the food scrumptious, and the ambiance was lively without being too loud or overwhelming. Gotta love a restaurant where the staff constantly smiles, obviously loving their jobs!

Our server Paulina really made the experience wonderful. We were with our kids (10 and under) and our parents (75+) and she was kind and attentive. Honestly made our evening so wonderful. Food was delicious and everyone from 8 yo to 78 yo all had the best time.
