Bienvenue chez Benihana, où vous vivrez une expérience culinaire pas comme les autres ! Vous en aurez plein la vue ! Il ne vous restera qu'à faire votre choix parmi la diversité de savoureux mets qui vous sont proposés (bœuf, poulet ou fruits de mer) et à vous laisser éblouir par cette tradition japonaise. Vous pourrez également vous régaler de sushis préparés par un chef talentueux et vous délecter avec un cocktail signature. Benihana Troy est situé sur Big Beaver Road, entre Crooks Road et Coolidge Highway, près de la Somerset Collection et du Somerset Park Golf Course. L'entrée et le stationnement sont situés à l'arrière du bâtiment. Des frais de service de 18% sont ajoutés à toute facture pour les groupes de huit personnes ou plus. Les réservations ne sont disponibles que dans la zone du teppan (salle à manger principale).     Mixed review, my party was with another group who requested a particular chef, this required us to wait longer than expected. Food was good, chef was personable no issues. The noise level was rather high but no major complaints there. Waitress was great until the end. It was my mothers bday and our party apparently missed the portion of dinner where the waitress was taking ice cream orders, she never asked us nor confirmed our denial and proceeded to bring the other party their order. When we notified her that we'd like ice cream as well her response was less than professional "yall didn't see them ask for ice cream" to which we responded no we didn't. She responded " well I'll put it in but it's going to take a while". We decided to decline. Mind you we've been subjected to a longer wait time because she also did not confirm with the entire table if we all preferred to wait for a requested chef. It wasn't a nightmare experience however it was the "worst" experience we've had at THIS particular location.

    Food and service fantastic. Unfortunately the guests, their behavior and manner of dress get one star. It posts a dress code on their website, yet everyone was in their hoodies and slides with socks and sweat pants and we were appalled. The chefs are performing and the polite thing to do is to give your attention. Nope. The table next to us was pretty into it and fun to watch, but most if not recording they were just scrolling on their phones like that was better than what was right before their eyes. Scrolling alone, together, one young girl was interacting with her mom’s phone like watching herself or something instead of the chef. Rude. It’s like it was a normal place to go for them nothing special. Just another dinner out. Does anyone else remember there being a little bridge you walked over maybe with coy below? And plants? Made to look like Japan. Now all that’s gone and they put tables everywhere, all bare with light wood, and not a stitch of decoration. Sign of the times I guess with society and decor. Not all the restaurant’s fault.

    I had a wonderful experience for Mother’s Day for lunch. It was very nice and the cook did an awesome job as well as the waitress.

    When dining at Benihana at a hibachi, expect at least a 3 hour experience, or so. The hibachi's are nice, but if I could get the same food, but served to me, I will do that, moving forward. Its unfortunate that you have to wait until all at your hibachi are present, to be able to be seated. Our reservation was for 7:45, but we were seated about 8:15. Our waitress was clearly busy, and we waited another, probably half hour for her, and then the chef didn't make it to the hibachi until about 9:40ish. So by the time the meal was completely cooked, we were all asking for a box because it was just too late to be able to sit and enjoy the meal (10:30) I understand ice cream is a normal part of the experience too, but we didn't even get that. Please hire more chef's and wait staff. Your restaurant's are always crowded, so your establishment will definitely not suffer, but thrive, if you do.

    While Benihana continues to raise their prices, there are few hibachi restaurants in the area that offer the level of ambiance and consistency of quality than here.

    Server was very inexperienced and there was a language barrier. Went with my fiance to use my $30 gift certificate that was sent for my birthday. The cook/chef kept asking everyone at the table which seasonings they wanted and which veggies they wanted which ended up screwing everyone at the table. My fiance and I just let it slide, that was until the water lines in the vents on the two grilles next to our table started gushing water and spilling over onto the grilles. The smell became too much to handle so we grabbed the bill and left. Very disappointed Benihana of Troy…..very disappointed.
