Bienvenue chez Benihana, où vous vivrez une expérience culinaire pas comme les autres ! Installés autour d'une table commune, vous découvrirez tous les secrets du chef alors qu'il vous présentera ses talents dans l'art ancien du Teppanyaki (cuisson des aliments sur plaque chauffante). Vous en aurez plein la vue ! Il ne vous restera qu'à faire votre choix parmi la diversité de savoureux mets qui vous sont proposés (bœuf, poulet ou fruits de mer) et à vous laisser éblouir par cette tradition japonaise. Vous pourrez également vous régaler de sushis préparés par un chef talentueux et vous délecter avec un cocktail signature. Benihana Troy est situé sur Big Beaver Road, entre Crooks Road et Coolidge Highway, près de la Somerset Collection et du Somerset Park Golf Course. L'entrée et le stationnement sont situés à l'arrière du bâtiment. Des frais de service de 18% sont ajoutés à toute facture pour les groupes de huit personnes ou plus. Les réservations ne sont disponibles que dans la zone du teppan (salle à manger principale). Afin de satisfaire tout le monde, les réservations ne sont pas acceptées pour le bar à sushi ou pour l'espace lounge.

I for the first time tried something different not what I usually do due to the fact that going outside of my normal meal is always a disaster and true enough it was. The portion size of meal was like a lunch size or a child size dinner. Also immediately after I ate, my stomach began to become unsettled when I got home I was so sick from what I had eaten, and I truly believe it was the avocado tartar sauce that was bad. It must have sat out in warm space in the kitchen not properly refrigerated. I will be returning to this place, however, not ordering that dish anymore due to improper food handling of that avocado, tartar sauce . other than that, the food was good.

Food was average. Service was terrible. Took forever. We go to hibachi all the time. Wanted to try a new place (yes I know Benihana has been around forever) and it was so slow. Very expensive for what you got. Kyoto in Clawson is much better.

The service was very slow. We sat for 20 minutes before our order (drinks and food) were taken. Another 20 minutes (and conversation with manager) before waters arrived (bar items took longer). The chef was lovely and the food was good. The waitress brought the bill for us without mention of the desserts included with our meals. My kids thought it was cool and the food was good so we may end up there again, but I personally don’t feel the need to return just based on the service alone.

The service was terrible and the food was mediocre at best. We waited 45 minutes for drinks, the whole “experience” from the time we sat down at the table until we left took 2 hours (on a Tuesday night at 7, it’s not like it was peak time). All around it was a terrible dinner.

They have completely given up. All ways and tables sticky. Food tastes freezer burned. Over an hour wait before the chef came after sitting down. Horrible!!!!!

The food was good, as expected, however the “show” was completely lackluster. This used to be the best part, now they just cooked the food, one trick with the onions, but far less than in the past. Very disappointing, especially for the price point.
