Bienvenue sur Benihana : une expérience culinaire pas comme les autres! Nos hôtes sont assis en groupes à des tables communes, où votre chef personnel effectuera l'art ancien du Teppanyaki. Admirez-le trancher, couper en dés et préparer un repas qui éblouira vos yeux et vos papilles, que vous choisissiez le steak-qui-met-l'eau-à-la-bouche, le tendre poulet ou les succulents fruits de mer. Vous pouvez également déguster des sushis préparés par un chef talentueux et vous faire plaisir avec un cocktail de spécialité. Benihana Torrance est une icône dans la South Bay. Il a ouvert ses portes en 1981 et continue depuis à offrir à la communauté une excellente nourriture, des boissons et des spectacles. Le restaurant est niché sur la Plaza Del Amo, au carrefour des boulevards Torrance et Hawthorne. The whole restaurant smelled like oil, it was much too crowded and it took 45 minutes for drink & appetizers. Probably our last visit. Highlight of the evening was Eric, our chef. Funny, talented and attentive to our graduate! Thanks Eric

The food was good the server & service was ok! The issue was restrooms terrible one stall no toilet paper had to get it out another one, pieces of paper on floor basically the bathroom looked like it wasn’t cleaned in hours and that place was too busy to have a nasty bathroom!

The zucchini portion and mushrooms are much less than last years and the rice portion. The bathrooms were filthy dirty water all over place ice almost slipped multiple times when I was washing my hands on my way out you had a sign however, the floor was always wet. I notified the supervisor that day. He said he would let someone know and then I use the restroom again and it was exactly the same. They were dirty. I’ve never seen the restrooms that filthy. You need to do a better job taking care of the restrooms. I understand that it was a very busy time. However, those bathrooms were very dirty and they did not have to be that way. For me to use those bathrooms under that condition after I had told the supervisor about it and did nothing I give it 2star

Benihana is Always good! I Love the food and the appetizers! They never disappoint! The chicken Fried rice is always good! I always get double rice with double ginger! Yummy!!

Came in for a birthday and graduation celebration dinner. The server was super helpful. We didnt get his name. But a nice young man who accommodated our party perfectly. Our chef Theo was awesome! Super entertaining, funny, and cooked up some delicious food! We would come back just to have him cook for us again. Thank you for making the dinner special!

We were seated approx 30 minutes past our scheduled time. The lady at the front desk was slightly rude perhaps because of how busy it was, but still not ok in my opinion. Manager was accommodating since we had 2 big groups/parties but also somewhat serious/unfriendly. Waiter was friendly and fun, chefs were amazing.

They were short staffed with graduations and birthdays reserved. We waited almost an hour after being seated for our chef. It was a lot less show while cooking and more banging of utensils. It’s not what it used to be..but what is anymore? The staff really did their best to keep us comfortable and happy. I can’t fault the service becasue they told us up front it would be a delay…which I appreciated. The food was okay, but the price is just crazy! Good portions. I felt bad for the servers and chefs.

We arrived for our reservation before 715pm and we didn’t get seated until 750pm. Once seated we didn’t get acknowledged or offered drinks till 815pm. By the time we left it was close to 10pm. I feel they needed more staff to help that night.
