    I love Benihanas, I have been looking forward this day since it was my son's birthday and it's been a while since we have been to. All I got to say is that it would be a while for us to go back again. The food was great, but what I had a problem with was the place. I went to the Maple Grove location and that place needs an update. It feels old and the chairs and tables were oily and had left over food. it also had a funky smell until the food started to be prepared. Did not like that at all. The biggest issue I had was the price. for three people with a glass of wine two waters and three duo combo meals was almost 300 dollars?!?!?!?!?!? In what freaking world I will pay that again? not on this one I tell you that. Now I know why everyone is going to Osaka. I am heartbroken I love Benihana, and it would be the place where I liked to take friends and family to celebrate occasions or even recommended it because I like it so much. My family visited a few weeks back form NYC and I am so glad we did not go it would have been close to 1000 dollars since it was 7 of us. Benihana I would miss you, but I just can't afford you not until next year. I will not recommend this place anymore.

    Way too much butter! There is absolutely no reason to cook with so much butter on top of oil. Otherwise, everything was great.

    We had Jorge as our chef and he was great!! Made our experience wonderful. Our host was very good as well getting our drinks, soups and salads. Her name was Zara and she attended to our group and was excellent. Great personality very fun!!

    The one bad thing was they have some weird 20% fee that the waitress said goes to everyone that works there and then if you want to tip the cook and the waitress it has to be in cash which left a feeling of being scammed, we tipped in cash but that was so weird and made no sense a big restaurant chain like this cannot do a tip on the card. It seemed like we got hustled by them. Other than that bad experience the food and time was good and service was good. The manager needs to rethink that positioning of tips off the books which makes customers feel like their getting taken advantage of, which is not a good feeling to walk out with at the end of the night

    As always never disappointed with this restaurant my son brought me as a mother's day gift and as always we loved it we went on a tuesday at 11:45 so we got our own table was amazing

    We went Benihana for Mother’s Day. The chef and the waitress were great. We had fun and the food was delicious! Would highly recommend.

    This will probably be my LAST time visiting Benihana. The service charge is ridiculous, our food was cooked to the wrong temperature (chef did NOT even verify before cooking and a medium rare order was the final protein received when it should have been one of the first), and I waited for way too long to get any of my drinks. Rising prices with less customer service and an added service charge, this is a joke.
