Venez prendre une pause lors de votre virée de magasinage au Mall of America et venez voir ce qui fait que Benihana est un incontournable du centre commercial. Absolutely shocked when we received the bill. Overpriced, and the “Service Charge” seems odd.

We have eaten at Benihana for years. First the prices of the entrees have greatly increased. On top of that the MOA location adds a 20% surcharge to your bill now. We have been there three times since this change. The service level has gone down, they don’t have an appropriate amount of staff and you end up being in the restaurant for 2.5-3.0 hours for your reservation. For four people are bill is now well over $300.00. It has become too expensive for the service, long wait and food you get.

Looking to spend more than two hours in a restaurant due to bad service this place is for you. Plus you will missing a bunch of the items you ordered food wise (veggies with just onions and 1 cucumber slice) and (no rice just mushrooms with the steak). Plus i couldn’t even drink to pass the time since the server never came by. But don’t worry with a forced 20% gratuity on the check the bad service doesn’t matter. 10/10 would recommend eating hibachi anywhere else but here. Save your money the brand isn’t worth the hype for extra price.

Our server, and our chef in particular, Alex, who brought the show to our table, were exceptional. The food is prepared fresh and it was a wonderful experience. The management staff was all over the restaurant helping to clear dishes, take checks, whatever needed to be done for a great dining experience. The only thing to note is this is one of those restaurants that add a 20% service fee to all checks and this is on the mid-higher end of restaurants so be aware that your bill will be +20% automatically.

Cold loud service was slow we would never gotten our salad without asking Food was over buttered and no flavor It was freezing in the room even when cooking The prices are so high and no vegetables other than zucchini and onions Used to be amazing

Amazing place. Friendly staff. Wonderful food. Wasn't a fan of the dressing on the salad, but that was a personal preference.

The food - as ALWAYS - was excellent. I usually dine there on the weekends, but my last visit was on a Monday night. The service was quite slow all the way around - perhaps it's a staffing issue. Our chef Jose was a delight. Prices have gone up - but this is a unique dining experience so worth it to me.

From when we sat down and were finally greeted we knew it was not going to be a good dining experience. 25 minutes later we had a server. She wanted to know if it was "okay" to order drinks and dinner now. Yes. She had a hard time taking our order. No surprise. She was flustered from the get-go. 45 minutes later she came back with our soft drinks minus our daughters smoothie. The chef finally came, less than excited to be there. Mumbled a few words. Did a lack luster few tricks. Still no smoothie. Chef had a hard time getting our dinners correct. The food was prepared well. Smoothie finally came, no ask of refills of soft drinks, we had to flag her down. When we could find her. To top off our evening, she charged the party's check next to us on our credit card and vice versa. It tool three employees to fix the error. We will not be going back anytime soon if ever.

The food was great, the chef was great. The waitress messed up our order and was slow to bring drinks. When I asked about the messed up order she tried to say my party got what they ordered, which was incorrect as she assumed things instead of asking questions to make sure. She did her best to correct the situation but still resulted in a disspointing experience. In the future I may try this location again but I would be more likely to go to a different location.
