    We were seated in the back which contains old grills. The AC in that part of the building was not working so it was very warm.

    Very trashy! The sushi was horrible. The cook was acting like speed racer. The waiter was awful. The hostess were just there. This was a very urban experience.

    Only three whole shrimp cut in half for the benihana delight meal. Chicken was very rubbery, and rice was overcooked and crunchy. I have no desire to go to any of the locations in MI again. I have had awful experiences at every location, from the food to service benihana is definitely not worth the prices their charging.

    I love Benihana, but this was the most terrible experience I’ve ever had. We had an 8:15 reservation, didn’t get seating until close to 9:30, didn’t even get our salad until close to 10:15. Didn’t leave until 11. I will not be visiting any Benihana in the Detroit area.

    Our cook Mass, was very disappointing. He never talked to us or engaged in any ‘tricks”. Heard lots of laughter and conversations at other tables. He also forgot part of my husband’s order. When reminded, he just ignored him.

    Everything’s me i go here i have to wait in a crowded angry lobby because they cannot manage their reservations. After waiting in this tense atmosphere with several angry people leaving we finally got seated an hour after our reservations. Never again.
