Bienvenue au Benihana, vous y vivrez une expérience culinaire pas comme les autres! Assis à une table commune, vous découvrirez tous les secrets du chef alors qu'il vous livrera ses astuces sur l'art ancien du teppanyaki (cuisson des aliments sur plaque chauffante). Situé au cœur de la vallée de San Fernando, le Benihana Encino a été le lieu de nombreuses productions télévisuelles et cinématographiques, notamment The Office, 40 ans et encore puceau et bien d'autres. I have been celebrating my sister and I But for the last 7 years at Benihanas. We made a reservation via the app which was Cool. I’m curious why I received a text stating my table was ready about 30/45 min prior to the reservation letting me know our table was ready and ask to text if we were in our way. We arrived and still had to wait 40 minutes before being seated. Not sure what that was all about maybe because our party size was minus 1 person. I noticed prices have increased which I’m guessing is to be expected with inflation but the birthday certificate value while nice has not increased( maybe something to consider). This is still appreciated as every little bit counts. My experience with the Chef was top tier Ozwaldo(Ozzie) was great. Very entertaining. The food was great. The seating was a bit smooshed considering we were dining with strangers. Luckily they were friendly. Which is not always the case Lastly our wait staff was a little hot and cold. I do not remember their name but the service started nice and smiley but by the end of the night they were glum and seem unenthusiastic once it was time for the bill to come. I’m curious is a photo no longer included with the experience? We received a drab birthday song by two hosts, luckily the other guests in our area made it more lively. Maybe the stag was tired or worn out from the day. It showed. With the exception of the chef. Sadly this is the second missed photo opportunity. Last year they took our photo but never printed the picture to give to us before leaving. It would be nice to know if this is being discontinued. Aside from the items listed above we still love Benihanas experience and birthday reward club benefits. Thanks for listening Ms. LaShaun

The noise level was awful, we could not. On the children menu. they charged for the meal, rice and edammies were extra and the portions were huge for a child. Would have been better to order off the adult menu

We come here all the time but I was disappointed with the chef tonight. He literally acted like he didn’t want to be there and it showed in his food. Please don’t work in service if you don’t like interacting with people.

We came here for Mother’s Day since my mom has never been. Our chef was amazing! 🤩 so sorry I forgot his name. He was fantastic. Our server was horrible and did not provide great service from the beginning. He mentioned to us that he had been working for three days straight so he was tired and over it. He did not make our experience a great one. He was impatient, did not smile And just seemed like he wanted to turn the table. I would have given this five stars if it were only for the chef because the food was amazing. The server is what brought this rating down. Sorry.

Arrived at the right time since there were a number of people celebrating Mother's Day. Even with all the people our server was attentive and EXTREMELY friendly. Our chef was great. Friendly, quick accurate with our orders and in the end the food was amazing!

I liked that my table was ready and we didn’t have to wait for it. Thank you! I asked for a performative chef and I got one! My guests were happy and they have left the country now. I’m glad they got to see Benihana once. It is my favorite restaurant since I was a child. My best memories are from there.

The chef and server were really good. The chef did some cool and new tricks. The server was very attentive and helpful. The food tasted good. My only complaint is that the prices are really expensive now like most combo entrees are close to $50. It's crazy!
