It’s sad to see how bad this place has gone down. It’s soo dirty in there it’s scary to eat. The habachi chef was the worst I’ve ever had. The veggies were raw. I mean hard and raw. The seafood I got was burnt and cold at the same time. Rice was mushy and bland. It was so disappointing.

This was my first time there,and to me, it's not worth what was spent, and the food was bland. The chef either was a beginner, or he was just terrible at his jjoob none of the tricks I saw the other chefs doing, he didn't do well. Not the egg trick,shrimp tail trick, he threw food all over the table abd at my daughter, who was celebrating her birthday and graduation, he didn't read the menu ticket well,it was just horrible to me for the amount of money that was spent! $457 not i cludig the $76 I left for a tip, this was not worth it at all! And the portions weren't big and we got the dinner portion because we were told the lunch size portion was far less than dinner. My daughter requested to attend this restaurant, but had it not been for the fact she asked to attend, and that her birthday and graduation fell on the same day, I would have gone somewhere else with better ambiance, better food, and a far better experience. But the bathroom was clean, regardless of that, a fly hovered the whole time like we were at a outside picnic.

This was the best of the food here we have had. Not sure why it was much better this time? Maybe Justin our chef added some extra goodness? aka butter? But everything was great...except the soup which is always meh.

The place is super small, extra laud and it needs an update. The carpet is disgusting, change that to flooring that can be cleaned better. The tables are too close to each other. There isn't enough room between the walls and the tables. Everything a food cart had to pass by we had to get up to make room for the carts to pass by. We felt rushed to finish our food because they had to sit other parties. The food was too expensive for the experience we got.. Overall, I don't think I will go back.

We had 7 pm reservations on a Friday and had about a 30 minute wait for a table. It was chaotic in the waiting area, lots of little ones and families. We’ve been many times, but we’ve never experienced so many people. We were celebrating a birthday, which is always fun. Shared our table with a sweet couple and a family of 3 celebrating a graduation. It took awhile for the chef to come to our table, but we received the onion soup and ginger salad right away. Great chef and wonderful experience. I ordered the Benihana Trio (filet mignon, chicken, and colossal shrimp), but was so disappointed in the shrimp as he proceeded to cut them into such tiny pieces, gave me a small amount, but shared it with everyone else there. It was so strange as they looked so good grilling whole and I know my peeps didn’t order any. Next time I will ask him to keep them whole for me. The chicken fried rice is delicious as is all their food. There’s so much, you’ll definitely have leftovers. We had to practically yell to hear each other and many other patrons were speaking really loud to converse. It was crazy loud. It’s a great experience and extremely entertaining. I’d like to try a lunch one day to see if it’s any different.

Benihanna's is a lot of fun. Watching the chef prepare your meal in front of you is unique to this type of restaurant. This location has been here for years and the décor shows its age. The food is always tasty and prepared well. It is always busy and loud, everyone is having a great time. Had a great time and look forward to the next visit.

The granddaddy of destination themed restaurants, it's easy to consign the venerable institution to the historical irrelevance bin. Been there, done that, saw the show, still have some memorabilia and pictures. I was totally there. Fortunately a friend kept insisting that she wanted to go there for her birthday. It's right across the street from the office, so why not? Well I forgot the quality and freshness of the food prepared in front of you. And, yeah, the show is still fun! But I also forgot how great the sauces are, how much better fresh fried rice is than virtually anything you can get or make. The scallops were off the chart, the steak was lovely, fantastic Japanese appetizers including sushi and sashimi - and yeah, you'll love sharing the show with everybody at the Teppan bar.

Still good after all these years! Our group had all been to Benihana's before but it had literally been decades for some. We all agreed that the food and service was great! Our chef was better than any I remember in past visits. He put on a great show! The place was full at lunch time so it's apparent that they are still pulling in the customers. One of us spilled our leftovers and made a big mess. They cleaned it up immediately and even brought us a container of fresh fried rice. I know we will all be back.
