A reservation was at 6:15. The chef did not start our food till 725. We sat down at 7 o’clock.

peter the cook burnt all of our food sadly. we brought it to our server’s attention but all that was compensated for was the fried rice. Steak was supposed to be medium and was completely brown on the inside. rice was black and crispy same with ALL vegetables and shrimp. It was surrounded by a black coat and had a bad taste. The food seemed to be lacking flavor compared to other benihanas. If you’re thinking of coming here i’d advise going to a different location.

It’s gotten worst as time goes by. Benihana is not what it used to be. AYCE buffet with a teppanyaki station would’ve been the same.

Everything was great! It was my first time seeing my father in 9 years and I decided to take him to eat. Everything was perfect, we had a great time.

Not worth the wait, the time, or the money! It was loud, overcrowded, the floors or what might be considered carpet was filthy, and the food was flavorless. We didn't complain and could find the fun in it all but truthfully, what a let down. We had reservations but they were so over busy we had to wait an additional 20 minutes in an overcrowded bench area. The days of having an experience with your chef are long gone. It's all cookie cutter and you're way too close to other tables now so there's too much confusion. For two filet dinners and 2 carafe of wine our bill was $180.00 WT. If I could have gotten up and left I would have but it would have only upset the evening and we were celebrating a birthday.

We love Benihana for birthdays in our family. My son requested to go for his 9th bday and invited a school friend for a dinner date. I was impressed with the entire experience. I had the best service I’ve had out there in the world in a long time. Server was attentive and kind offered to take out pics without us asking. Our Chef was fun and personable volcano is always a hit. We had a great time even though we’ve seen these types of presentations numerous times. The entire team made my son feel special for his special day. Thank you Encino Benihana team!

The restaurant is dirty and dark. The portions are very small and have gotten smaller.

We celebrated my daughter’s birthday. Staff was able to accommodate us bringing our own cake. Everything was perfect for a party of 15. Food and atmosphere was great. Thank you for an overall great experience.
