Amazing concept and incredibly friendly and attentive and helpful staff Quality do the food is awful - can’t believe we are in 2024 with such low standards of quality and such high volumes of sodium

Person next to us was very difficult with ordering and food choices. Server got orders all mixed up. My daughter and I didn’t get our chicken fried rice until later into the meal due to her error. When we finally got it. Mine had 1 piece of chicken. Overall worst experience. Cool Justin was very good at what he did, he tried his best to fix the issues with the orders the way IT was taken.

This was my first time trying Benihana. And it did NOT disappoint. I got the hibachi steak with chicken fried rice and it was chefs kiss!

The waitress was clueless, the chef didn't do the show as per usual. Waited until the last minute to do the onion volcano. Items came in out of order, we had to ask for the rice after things were already on our plate. The chef took over 45 minutes to get to us. It was not a good experience.

A little mishap with seating but it happens however Ben is our favorite server!! He’s polite, on point and follows our special requests perfectly.

The hostess table was kind and accommodating. We brought in a cake they gave us a tag and placed it in the fridge. The service by Ally and chief Rex was exemplary. We had early Sunday evening dinner reservations so the noise level was a little elevated, but it quieted down after that. We had a celebration and they were very good at helping to create the right vibe. Delicious dinner. Memorable night.

AWFUL experience. AVOID this location. We had a 6 pm reservation. I got a text that our table was ready. We arrived on time. The hostess was rude and told me they had no idea when we would be seated!!! We waited 10 minutes and then left. Try YAMATO in Encino Commons for a more peaceful experience.

We had an amazing time. Our chef and waiter were amazing. There were 2 people at our table that complained about everything and ended up dining and dashing which was sad to see. I love Benihana and will continue to come.

Only 3 stars. On one issue, they failed miserably. One member of our party is prone to migraines. Flashing lights can trigger one. We told them when we were seated, asked that they refrain from flashing the lights above the grill. We were told they understood and would not flash the lights. They kept doing it anyway. We've been to Benihana before. In the past, they listened and didn't flicker the lights. This time, they did it every chance they got.

I'm a huge Benihana fan but was so disappointed on this occasion at this restaurant. 1) no toilet paper in the ladies loo (should have been a warning sign that standards have slipped) 2) The noise level / acoustics were terrible. We were sat next to 2 rowdy tables where the women guests were playing at being 'chefs'. Clearly drunk and extremely rowdy everytime they served onto one of their guests plates they gave a huge row of noise. It was totally intrusive. Not only myself, but the others at the table and the next table beside us were rolling their eyes in agreement. We pointed this out to the waitress but she stated nothing could be done. This was 5:30pm at night when the restaurant was filled with kids. In fact the lady 'chef' came to our table (before we realized who she was) and asked if we had any food allergies. She not only gave me concern that she would be the calibre of chef but she scared the kids who thought she was strange. 3) They've obviously decided the fun trick of prepping /removing the tails of the shrimps is too time consuming as they arrived already ready to cook and missed that fun trick. 4) Honestly, the meat which usually melts in your mouth just did'nt. In fact, as I watched the chef carve up my meat I noticed as that point that it looked different. 5) The whole experience is watching the chef's and having fun but this felt rushed and the food inferior. First time I've walked away leaving food on the table. I hear there are other restaurants like Benihana's - sadly, will now go investigating.

Great service overall. The food is just okay especially for the price you're paying. Will come back again but only if my daughter wants too. She is 7 and it was her first time. She said it was just okay and I agree.

Food was delicious. Chef Winter was great and server attentive and courteous. Had to pay for valet but not too bad. I guess it is to be expected when in an area with many dining establishments nearby.

The chef put too much soy sauce on the rice and it salty as hell and and they mess up on my bday $30 gift card but it was ok wish it was better hope u can make this right for me

Great service! The portion size of what you pay for is plenty. However, no matter which Benihana I visit the chef always over cooks the chicken.
