I haven't been to this location in awhile but it was good. They were very busy as usual but a good busy. We enjoyed our time there.

I took my son for his birthday and this restaurant was very dirty and the atmosphere was disappointing. Our chef did the food backwards, he did our meat first , vegetable last. So our food was cold and gross. This restaurant should be closed down!!!. No one should pay that much money for this food . I will never step foot back at this restaurant. Disgusting!!!!!!!! Dirty!!!!. I wanted to ask for my money back!!!!!!

Service was excellent. The only problem given is the cleanup guys, only 1 mainly, was trying to rush people to leave, and my drink/cocktail was removed, and I wasn't finished with it.

From the time we walked in it was terrible. We arrive 5 minutes before or reservation and was greeted with a stand to the side. Very Rude. We get seated and the waitress comes over and immediately says she wants to place our order so we can hurry the process up. I told her I feel rushed out the door before we even get a chance to look at the menu. She laughed nervously. Honestly I should have just got up and left right then. The cook comes over it was good, no complaints there. While he’s cooking/ serving us, we are eating and they start taking away our side dishes before we are even done! As soon as the cook leaves they place carry out boxes while we are still trying to enjoy our meal. Another gentleman comes over and asks how we want the bill spilt, sets it down and stands over us, remind you WE ARE STILL EATING! For over a $700 bill, I expect a different overall experience. I will never return! Spend my moneys elsewhere.

We went out for a fun dinner with friends and it didn’t disappoint! John was our chef and one of the best we’ve had. What a fun dinner!

Very disappointed, I’ve been going to Benihana’s since I was a child. This has to be the absolute worst I have ever to. The one redeeming factor was the food was good. We arrived at 7:55p for our 8pm reservation and were seated by 8:05 not bad. The floors were filthy, table tops sticky, unused griddles had charred food on them, and the place was just hot and uncomfortable. I understand the place being busy, but this was just bad. We didn’t see any staff, until we got up and asked for someone to bring us water and take drink orders at 8:25pm. At which point we ordered waters, drinks, appetizers, and our meals. It wasn’t until we got up again and asked for water at 8:40 that we got water. About 8:50 our apps and sushi came out, but still not our drink orders. We again had to track someone down a few minutes later to get napkins, soy, dishes, etc. At 9:00PM we got our initial drink orders, but my so sons was wrong, and they informed us they didn’t have grapefruit to make my wife’s Paloma.by this time other tables had been seated around us, received drinks, apps, soup, salad, and such. We didn’t get soup and salad to our table until 9:15 At about 9:30pm one of our party of 7 got up and got a pitcher to refill everyone’s water at the table. Since the waitress had not came back to check on us. This was about the time our chef arrived at the table to begin the meal. Apparently he was getting the same level of service, as it seems some of the staff decided to play a trick on him. We all got salt and pepper dumped on us and the food as the tops weee unscrewed on his containers. The poor guy restarted after cleaning up and getting the food replaced. The gent cooking the food was great, the food was great, the wait staff and facility as a whole was abysmal. Our dinner was finished cooking about 9:50, and 9:55 we weee boxing it all up, and getting out of there as quick as possible. No attempts were made to correct anything. Just the worst place.

The chef we had was great. Food was good. They didn’t have a blender for drinks for my wife’s style of drinks. Maybe should have went and bought one or have a spare.

We had a wonderful time and the food was tasty as usual. We want to give a special thanks to the server, Ahmad. He did an exceptional job. Without him, I couldn’t imagine how it would have ever came together. He deserves a big raise and he should definitely be offered a management position. He’s just awesome.

This is at the TOP of the list of the WORST dining experiences I've EVER had! The food was NOT fresh, the rice had a funny taste like it was old. I asked to have it remade I was told it was a fresh batch, "that's how they make it here". It was greasy but not from the garlic butter. The chicken wasn't good, it was rubbery and did taste the best! The best thing about my experience was my server, she was super nice and attentive. I will DEFINITELY NOT patronize this location EVER again!

My family and i have been going for 20 years, we know the routine … this time was a bit different . As entertaining as our chef was, he was definitly doing things on his own terms which was odd and frustrating for the waitress. He came out too early and we had our meal at the same time as our starters .. a lot going on (that’s never happen before). We were also a bit uncomfortable when the chef asked at the end “no money for me?” That was a first, seeing as we know a portion of the waitress’ tip goes towards the chef and we are always generous about it! Overall, still a good experience, we took some first timers, and they had fun.

Experience was good. Wait was long even with reservations and our party was all there. Had reservations for 6 and didn’t get seated until 6:30. No one else was waiting. Waiter was great at first but then near the end he started to wait on a new table and we had to wait for 20 minutes for our bill. It was a special occasion and that was totally forgotten. Until he asked after we waited wasn’t the same. Was a bit perplexed since the cook had our steaks and made a small take out container for one of the workers. If we paid for it, why is it being given away. Wasn’t happy to see that? Overall food was good but for the price it’s expensive and when it’s a special occasion it would be nice to have the staff go the extra mile when the bill is pricey, meaning tip will be high. Didn’t get that! Waiter pushed alcohol drinks vs the water we ordered for us to find out that one drink cost $27 after we got the bill and it was a pina coloda with a bit extra alcohol. Total bar tab was two drinks for almost $50 ridiculous.

The chef provided great service and the food was good but the restaurant itself has definitely gone down. It’s been several years since I’ve been to this location and appearance wise, I don’t think I’ll be back. The carpet needs to be cleaned/vacuumed, the menus had not been wiped down. There was sticky beverage of sort throughout the pages of the menu. Let’s be mindful, the restaurant just opened so it’s not like they were open for hours and were busy and had no time to vacuum, it should have been done at closing the night prior or before the restaurant opened. When you go into a restaurant to eat food, you expect the venue to at least appear clean and sanitized.

Terrible. We got sat first then about 5 minutes later 2 tables were seated on either side of us. Both tables got served before we even got water. We had no waiter. Not one of the other waiters who was there serving who seen us sitting there for over an hour helped. I asked for a manger and the manager refused to come talk to us which was VERY unprofessional in itself. I would not recommend. We ended up leaving after we got water.

My family and friends celebrated my daughters 16th birthday there and the server was friendly and professional, the CHEF was engaging and the ambiance was cool. It went well for a busy Friday night for a party of ten! Thank you, Beyonce for being so accomadating!

Our reservation was for 6:30pm, sat down at 7pm. We and another table sat down exactly at the same time. The other table had their beverages, their soups, their salads and their chef had cooked and was already doling out their entrees. Us: no beverages, no soups, no salads and definitely no entrees. Finally, get our beverages, soups, salads. My sister finally gets up and speaks to our waitress, Chantel, as to where our chef is as we had been waiting and waiting and waiting. All we received was an apology, no discount on our meals which our whole party should have received as we were there for near 4 hours!!!

The Benihana in Dearborn MI is the best Benihana that I have been to. The chefs are amazing and the food is consistently amazing. The bartenders and waitresses are great!

When we sat down to wait to be seated, I noticed a broken door on wine cabinet. I then happened to gaze up and the cabinet was filthy. The top was covered with dust and cobwebs. I then took noticed that there was other signs of the establishment not being well kept. This restaurant needs a thorough cleaning.

This place is a train wreck. The service is deplorable. They are not organized even for reservations. The food was mediocre. Our orders were wrong. It was pure chaos on a Thursday evening. They don't have ventilation fans. We left smelling like smoke and garlic.

Horrible experience. Waitress never checked on us. Never got drink refills. The cook didn’t ask the table if we wanted sauce for our meals.

We had a great night. The manager was very nice and very accommodating. The chef was outstanding. The food was delicious. We had a nice experience.

Eli was our assigned chef. He did a wonderful job; none of the chefs can cook chicken as good as Eli. In addition he finished our meals in about 50 minutes. Outstanding!

From the greeter Chris, our waitress, and chef my daughter had an amazing first time experience her. And all of our food was delicious and prepared to perfection:)

Rice was not cooked fully still crunchy. Y’all was out of a lot of things like hot tea, Mountain Dew, and a few more things they were out of… food doesn’t taste like it use too.

First, I want to say that Carla was an AMAZING waitress and she did a fantastic job trying to accommodate everyone at the table. I had a reservation at 7:00 last night and we did not get served until 9:00pm. The chef Raphael was running behind and overcooked the food so the rice was hard and dry, the meat was over cooked and dry. We didn’t get mushrooms with all the other vegetables so by the time I packed my food up, he was offering mushrooms the last second and i didn’t even want them anymore.

Our chef, Eduardo, and our waitress, his sister, were excellent. The service and food were both fantastic, the best we’ve had at a Benihana in years. Thank you for making our experience first class! It was a great place to celebrate my birthday!
