Bienvenue au Benihana pour une expérience culinaire unique ! Vous serez assis autour de tables communes en groupe, où votre chef personnel manipulera devant vous l'art ancien du Teppanyaki. My reservation started at 8:30 and my chef didn’t come out until 9:45. The chef told us it was only 2 chefs available for the whole day. We didn’t receive our salad, soups, or appetizers until 9:20. Then it was like when it was time to sing happy birthday they rushed it. It’s not thee first time this has happened.

We were there on time for our reservation but still had to wait twenty minutes. The server said that she was new and she got my drink wrong two times. The chef burn the egg that was going into the chicken fried rice.

Don’t go to this Benihana location on special occasions. I got there with a reservation for 12:15, still had a 20 minute wait for my table - which is not ideal but not close to the 1:30 we all had to wait for our cook and for the food start being prepared. Food was good but not worth this level of disorganization. Definitely not coming back.

Good atmosphere and friendly service but had to wait a bit when we had a reservation and it took about 40 minutes after seating for our food service to begin. They didn’t get our order 100% correct but we were not charged for anything extra. Good food very pricey but entertaining.

We just went to this Benihana again, and it did not disappoint. This has been an annual birthday dinner for us and it is always great! This time our chef, Ernesto was efficient, entertaining, and cooked all of the items perfectly! Our Waitress, Tatiana, was wonderful! Great service, polite, professional, and funny! The birthday hats were a nice touch! Thank you for a very nice evening!

Not sure I’ll be returning. Was sat right away, our chef was wonderful. But trying to get a drink refill was nearly impossible. Our waiter went on her break mid dinner and that’s when our service went down hill. My bill ended up having someone else’s sushi on it. It got really busy and super loud, making it difficult to hold a conversation with the person next to me. Prices are higher than ever and portions are smaller.

The prices keep going up and up while not offering anything else for the price and now have taken away the garlic butter on your food. Definitely no longer worth the price.

This dinner was one of the worst dining experience's I’ve had dining out ever. We arrived at 6:15 just in time for our reservation. They advised there’d be an additional 10-15min wait. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks while waiting. 45mins passed so I thought I’d check in. The hostess advised they were waiting to sit one larger party prior to ours but didn’t know how long it would be. 15 more mins go by and I noticed 2 large groups were seated. At that point I noticed a manager walking by me so I tapped him and kindly asked if he could give me a real time. He said he’d be back. He can back 10mins later saying they were waiting for a table. However, I noticed the private room was empty and asked to be seated there. He declined stating it was reserved. About 10 more mins later the hostess called my name and seated us. We sat at the table for 34 mins before a passing waiter asked if we’d been helped yet. He let us know he wasn’t our server but would get us water. A few more minutes went by and another waiter comes and said he didn’t know he was our waiter. We placed our order for drinks and dinner. 15mins later a different waiter brought us soup. Still no bevs. Then the chef came out. We noticed he was cooking everything with regular butter not garlic. We asked him and he said they can’t use that anymore since management changed 3 months ago. We asked the waiter for some on the side because of this. He begins portioning the rice and some were only half filled. We seen this coming because when he read back our order rices were missing. The waiter also lost our order sheet. We told him and he just laughed. Another waiter comes and brings our cocktails and forks. Over 3 hours our food was done & extremely bland and poorly cooked . We noticed the chef for the other table had garlic butter so we realized he lied to us or probably forgot it. We spent nearly $900 which included gratuities because we had a party of 9. Very disappointing.

The food is always good here. However, this was the first time I experienced sub-par setvice and the food was so/so. It took a long time, and the bar staff seemed overwhelmed and not connected to those at the bar while they fulfilled orders. My waiter didn’t even realize my food was out, asking the other bartenders where did it go, and at the end, I had been charged twice. He was so disconnected. And, the one prior to him that served was worse because he was waiting to go on break. I can stand not to go there for a while. For the value, I expected more. .

EXCELLENT SERVICE! We were a party of 16 and Benihana's Concord did not disappoint in the hospitality and customer service experience. Our chefs were entertaining and professional. Our waitress, Alexandra was awesome and accommodating! Very pleased with the service overall. We'll definitely book here again!

We had a very nice experience. The only problem was the wait to get drinks and appetizers. We were there for almost 3 hours. Our cook was great and our waitress was nice and I know it wasn’t her fault because they were very busy that night. I was a little hesitant to make the reservation because a lot of the reviews mention the time in which they waited to be seated, and then to receive their drinks and meals. I mentioning it because I’m hoping that if enough people bring it to your attention, some thing will be done.

Benihana is a place my family and I visit often. The service is usually ok, but this time was a very bad experience. Our food was more on the salty end, but my kids did enjoyed their steak. The cook was nice but wasn’t very enthusiastic, we are use to a having the full Benihana cook show. It was our daughter birthday, the didn’t offer any happy birthdays or anything to make her feel special, and this is where she wanted to go. Our waiter was not attentive to our table at all. He also seemed flustered with all he had to handle. I’m not one to complain because I know it’s a hard job, but at some point it becomes awful service with all the waiting. No refills, forgetting to bring us what we asked for, our table stayed a mess because the used bowls weren’t picked up, etc. but with that said he did try to still have a nice attitude. I feel he was just overwhelmed. As we left the manger was apologetic. The host Lizzy was nice when we arrived.

The server that we had, he was very kind but he did abruptly basically let us know that we needed to leave after we were done eating other than that. It was OK it’s not what it used to be for sure but it was OK.

First time attending, overall I had a pleasant experience. The food was good and the staff were friendly and polite. Definitely recommend.

We arrived a hour early and was able to be sat early! Our cook Jason was great. Only disappointment was that we had to request garlic butter partway through the preparation of our food.

We went on a very busy Saturday. Our reservation was for 4:30pm and by the time we got our orders in it was 5:30. The first few courses can and the chef didn’t start cooking until 6:30. We have been to Benihana several times before and we know how entertaining it can be, and it was the reason we chose this restaurant for a birthday celebration, but this time was really disappointing. The chef was not entertaining at all and we were requesting for certain tricks before he finished cooking. This was luck of the draw; it looked like other tables had some very skilled chefs. The portion sizes used to be big enough to share but not anymore. Maybe this is due to rising food costs? Either way, the value for what you got was less than satisfying. Overall, we were expecting a much better experience than what we got, based on our previous visits.

My son picked Benihana for the show. Our cook was fast, he did not talk at all and went through the motions. There was no interactions, no jokes, no comments to us. He finished very quickly and moved on. We could have sent less money on something else. You pay extra for the cooking show. When we brought it up the cook said he wasn't feeling it.

As usual, the food was good, and the service was excellent. My husband and I had the Rocky's Special, which I think is the best deal - it is steak and chicken though they use smaller pieces of chicken breast now than the used to.

This Concord Benihana location is clean, beautifully decorated and the service is great. Each person is friendly & helpful. Our service was awesome and we got the full birthday vibe. This location is good for celebrations or a fun dinner.
