    My party had a reservation for 5:15 and upon arrival we found out the restaurant was running an hour behind, or so I was told. Two members of our 7 person party were running about 10 minutes behind, and I was told we would only be partially checked in prior to their arrival and other guests would be seated in our seats until then. Within that 10 minutes the hostess then decided to tell me that I needed to wait and stand for that entire hour to hear my name called for our table. I know there was an option to text me for that information so I was upset I had to stand there, 8 months pregnant, while the rest of my party could sit down at the bar. Meanwhile the bar was HOT and everyone was sweating, and no one was served their drinks. Eventually another member of my party came up to a different hostess and told them what was going on. That hostess said the opposite of what the first hostess said and seated us right away! We had been waiting for about a half an hour for no reason!! Once at the table (which was very, very sticky) things got better. Our server was very pleasant, the chef was entertaining. But other things kept happening. For one, we had to ask multiple times for the sauces which is kind of a staple to get at hibachi. Second, a member of our party was eating his soup and to his surprise was sliced by a broken spoon and his mouth started to gush blood. Third, the chef cooking at the table next to ours had not been fully trained and created a HUGE fire on the grill which scared the customers so badly a man fell off of his chair backwards. Fourth the busser for the table was rude and threw dishes and silverware into his bin with a lot of aggression making all of us uncomfortable. Also, no wonder the spoon was broken. My expectations were normal, but there were so many things that happened in this dining experience that I cannot give this Benihana a good rating. Sorry chef, your food didn’t deserve 2 starts but the rest of the staff made it that way.

    The wait time with a reservation was very slow. I know it was Father’s Day, however, I wished they would have been moving quickly.

    The place is changing in different ways. The chef didn't have many tricks but was cracking jokes which I appreciated. The waiter would disappear for extended periods of time, to the point that the chef on two occasions could not find him and had to leave to get things for the table.

    Our server was absent. She took our drink order and never came back seem like she was trying to rush through our service like she had something else to do. Cook was fairly new so we cut the chicken up. I had big huge pieces of chicken they were cut real funky almost if a child was going to eat them they could choke on it how big they were. It was as soon as he was done cooking I was already ready to box my food up and go and our server had an attitude. Also, the server walks up to the table because I had to get another server to answer a question for me because she never came back to our table so when she came to our table, she stood in the middle of the table and was yelling at the shelf what seems to be the problem you have a problem with the rice order and I had to like waive my hand and tell her no it’s not him With the problem. I’m the one with the problem was making a scene very unprofessional. Don’t know where they found her at Customer service has went out the door now the hostess, beautiful, good vibes, nice spirit, but our server it was a no for me

    As always, Beni is one of the best places to enjoy a great meal with coworkers for lunch or with friends and family for a great dinner. I decided to try the noodles and was pleased with the choice.

    we were not seated until about 45 after or reservation and a chef did not come to our table until about 30 minutes after seating . other tables sat after us were already given chefs. reservation was at 8 we did not get anything on our plates until after 10 o clock . extremely disappointed

    We had a nice time here celebrating my daughters 15th birthday. The server and the chef were pleasant and did little extra things to make her feel special and she got a song at the end. Everything was delicious and tasted good. You will spend some money dining with a family of five but the overall experience and enjoyment is worth it.
