Bienvenue chez Benihaba, un restaurant qui vous propose une expérience culinaire hors du commun ! Ici, les clients sont tous rassemblés autour de la même table pour un moment de convivialité pendant que le chef vous offre un spectacle de Teppanyaki. Vous en prendrez plein la vue ! L’art ancien japonais du teppanyaki (cuisson des aliments sur plaque chauffante) n’aura plus de secrets pour vous. Il vous restera à faire votre choix parmi la diversité des mets proposés (boeuf, poulet, fruits de mer, etc.). Vous pourrez également vous régaler de sushis préparés par un chef talentueux et vous délecter avec un cocktail de spécialité. Situé au cœur du royaume du divertissement à Orange County, Benihana Anaheim se trouve à 10 minutes de Disneyland, de California Adventure, du Centre des Conventions d'Anaheim et à 5 minutes de l'Angel Stadium. Our Reservation was for 7:30 they let us know they were running behind 20 minutes. Our entire party got there by 7:35 and we didn’t get seated till 8:00pm. It could of been an off night and it seemed like almost every party was celebrating something including ourselves. Overall great experience from service to chef.

My kids love going to Benihana. We decided on a whim to take them and were lucky there was a reservation available. The food is always good and our cook was really great.

The food and service was great. The issue that we had was the fans that were blowing a lot of air and cooled our dinner before we could get 1/2 way done. We had to take our food home and heat it there and finish it.

We have been long-time patrons of Beninhana in Anaheim. We celebrate all of our families birthdays there and have been doing so for the past 20+ years. Sadly, our latest experience was the worst we've ever had, and it was so bad we are unlikely to return unless management gives us a reason to do so. Apart from the wait being 1.5 hours past our reservation time, our main issues were wtih the experience and with the quality of the food. I'll start with the food. Our chef was clearly new to cooking. Generally, the food was bland, overcooked and undercooked across our meals. For example, the fried rice, the pride and joy of Benihana, tasted like something we could have bought in a freezer section of a grocery store. The onions and carrots were not cooked long enough, so there was an unpleasant crunch to the rice. The rice lacked flavor, seasoning and taste. Parts of the rice were black and burned and my son winced at eating it. Moving onto the steaks and chicken and shrimp and scallops. All of which were very bad. The steaks were underseasoned, and when we asked for them to be rare, our chef flashed them for 30 seconds and served it to my son raw. There were parts of the steak that we were uanble to eat. Our chef asked us if the temperature of our chicken was to our liking. That is odd as chicken is either cooked or not. This gave us concern that he didn't know what he was doing. Lastly, the scallops and shrimps were overcooked, unnecessarily charred and rubbery to eat. Our mushrooms sat in a pile for 5 minutes and were served to us uncooked and cold. The zucchini was drenched with soy sauce and undercooked and soggy to where there were no grill marks at all on the zucchini spears. Lastly, the chef was unable to entertain well. As we were watching other tables laugh at egg art and trains and flames, our chef attempted to make a train that fizzled out and no other food spectacles were seen. Severly unwhelming and unjustified.

We were seated within 5 minutes. Our orders were taken, soup and salad were delivered 20 minutes later. The chef did not appear until 1/2 hr after we finished our salad. The chef forgot about my shellfish allergy and put shrimp near my food. We reminded him and he immediately took it off and cleaned his utensils. Saved me a trip to the er.

We came to Benihana to celebrate two birthdays. I understand it’s Labor Day weekend but the entire meal took almost 3 hours. This is because we waited an hour at the grill before the chef showed up. Also this is one of the worst experiences at Benihana we’ve ever had. The service was slow and the chef seem like he just came out of cooking school. He was sweating profusely throughout the cooking. Shells all over the fried rice. he even passed out food to the wrong person throughout the meal. I ordered an extra shrimp add-on, and it never came. Before the chef left I also reminded him that I’m missing a shrimp and he just shrugged it off.

The wait at the beginning for the hibachi chef was to long. Food was good your chef was very funny and entertaining.
