We followed up our first visit with an impromptu late dinner reservation for 7:30pm. They were all tables readily available in the main dining room so we sat on the outside, closest to the parking lot. Immediately, we recognized the service wasn’t as good as our previous visit. We experienced long lapses between visits from our server. We ordered the baked littleneck clams as an appetizer. They arrived fairly hot but we only received 12 (instead of 14). They discounted the clams by a couple of bucks for the two we were missing. My wife had the sausage and pepper appetizer, and I had the rigatoni and meat sauce with meatballs. The food was very good. The service was awful. It won’t stop us from going back and trying again.

It’s been awhile since we’ve been here, but it was just as great as in the past. We came with friends who had never been there and they loved it too. Three of us had chicken entrees (Chicken Bella Mia, Chicken Picante & Chicken Vesuvio) and the other person had Veal Marsala. The person who had Vesuvio thought it was best he had ever had! All in all, it was a wonderful meal and the service was excellent. My only complaint might have been the up charge on my Martini when I was asked if I wanted any special brand of liquor & I said no preference, but was charged extra for Tito’s.

Bella Mia is always a pleasant Dining experience! The staff is courteous and caring. The food is always served piping hot and in a timely manner. Thanks to Randy and the entire team!

I had high expectations for this place. It came highly recommended from this Facebook page I follow. I read many reviews and was excited to dine with them. Our waitress Sonja wasn’t that attentive, she would come to table then leave for a long amount of time. The appetizer peppers and sausage was 10/10. I ordered calamari it was thick and rubbery, I felt like it came out of a bag I sent that back. The entrees were bland and basic nothing special. We also ordered lemon drop martini’s the waitress brought chilled glasses to table and brought 3 separate small carafes to pour the drinks, the martini seemed pre made. My friend found a hair in her caesar salad, the owner Randy came and took the salad and said he will take it off the bill and left the table with no apologies. We were a party of 6 we came to celebrate our bday. Sonja lit 2 long candles for my twin and I and sat them in table in front of us. I follow their instagram page and noticed they would give birthday cupcakes out with small candle. We didn’t receive anything. We called the manager over and he said “ Oh they didn’t do that for you? So he redeemed himself and asked us what cake we wanted off the menu. I’ll rate this experience 5/10. I’m disappointed it didn’t meet my expectations.

We were seated on time. However it took nearly 20 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us. We didn’t receive water or anything. We also were crammed into our table. Luckily we had some smaller people in our party. However it was very uncomfortable. Our server was very nice and knew what she was doing. However, they use a headphone/mouthpiece and the server had to speak loudly because it was extremely busy and she couldn’t be heard. From the minute we walked in it was very loud with the number of large tables. We had people that speak quietly in our party could not be heard, at all. So overall our experience was not a good one. Long wait to be acknowledged, very loud and the price of the food was high. I believe that there may have been other servers that realized we had not been waited on and told someone. There were others that seemed to be “management” of some sort, that should had been more cognizant. I am aware that it was Mother’s Day. However this by far, was not nearly the experience we were expecting.

I do love Bella Mia. The ambiance inside is great and the staff is very friendly and welcoming . The waitaff real seem to care about the customers which is not seen often now a days. It was Mother’s Day so it did take longer than usual to get our food , water, drinks etc but I overlooked it because of the crowd. The food was excellent . My one complaint is that I wish they would sand blast the exterior to remove the previous name which shows up on the front exterior . It makes the restaurant look tacky on the outside and I hate to recommend to others because of it . When I do recommend I explain that the exterior looks awful but the interior is beautiful . The outside has been this way for too long .
