Would have been nice to know that they were ONLY doing a buffet for Mother's Day. I had an elderly mother with me who has a difficult time standing. Our reservation was for 1:00 and we had to wait for 20 minutes to be seated only to find out we could not order off the menu. Most of the food was cold and unappealing to look at and way overpriced. $93.00 for two buffets with the quality of the food was not worth it. I will not be back.

The service and food was top notch! Had the Blackened shrimp tacos and my grandson had the grilled Atlantic salmon. Both were cooked to perfection and tasted amazing! Our server Lucy was helpful, attentive and friendly! Will return!

Our server was excellent and went above and beyond to help us with a food allergen concern. I did ask to substitute a Caesar salad for the house salad. It was excellent. I was charged extra for this and $1 for the anchovies. I was happy to pay extra but it would have been nice if the server had mentioned this upfront - some patrons might be unhappy to learn this afterwards. The food was served very promptly by assisting servers. Nice touch.

my husband and I come to dine here quite a bit and very often. We had Grace as a waitress and she’s very professional. I go to order my favorite dish and she tells me it’s off the menu and they no longer carry it. She asked if she can go and ask the chef if he can prepare it special for me and I ask her if she would do so kindly thank you. She comes back and tells me know that the chef said that he is not able to do that. Therefore, my husband and I will not be dining here anymore. I got the same meal every time I come here and dine. So this time I drank my drink and didn’t eat very unhappy regular customer! The best thing is at least you could have the items to make the dish but keep it off the menu if you must. Maybe when you do have it back someday we will come back and rate you. Thanks for the Angel Hair Pesto it was delicious ❤️

Dinner for anniversary. Very nice feel to the restaurant, noise level was low, easy to carry on an intimate conversation. Entree selections extensive and something for everyone. Waitress was very good. Food amazing.

Service was great. However our food took a very long time, the dining room was very noisy due to patrons but also very loud music. Steak was mediocre, all other food was good. Several hosts at host station and all seemed overwhelmed. It just did not seem like they had an effective process to manage everything. 2 people, dinner, appetizer, 1 dessert to share and 1 drink each from bar with tip $155. Did not feel like value was there for what was received. biggest disappointment was we were at the table a total of 1 hour 50 minutes because of how long food took. It was a busy night, which is why I did not give it less than a 3 star, but it is not a place I would return to for a nice dinner.

We had not been to Baxters for a while and decided to give it a try, and we left feeling very good about the choice. Emma was our server and she did a great job of making sure that we did not want for anything. The food was served promptly and was very good. I had a steak and the wife had the Halibut and both were cooked perfectly and were very tasty. The price was reasonable and the atmosphere was quiet and friendly. Overall a good experience.

We were a party of 4 and we wanted a more quiet space, they gladly re-sat us to a quieter section. It was so nice of them to accommodate us. Baxter’s has never been about loud music but on this occasion there were quite a few larger groups so opted to be a bit further away. The food was absolutely delicious and the presentation was beautiful. The waiter was kind and attentive.

At $170 this was the most expensive meal my wife and I have had, celebrations out usually dont crest $130 at some of the top steak houses in our area. Branching out to try a new town, we both got parm crusted NY Strips (no oz. listed) @ $45/ea. the parm crust absolutely carried the under-seasoned steak. Cooked well, unfortunately my wifes cut was an end cut that had a large silverskin ran diagonally in it. making it difficult to cut and a chore to eat. The mac n cheese, an upcharged side, was a hot dry gummy noodle dish. not good. the caesar side salad, another upcharge, came out filled with butt ends of romaine hearts. (our waitress quickly apologized and had a new one made, without us having to really say much, just showing her) the calamari was rubbery, some over cooked, some undercooked, idk how that happens. the "pepper" assortment that fills the space on the calamari platter to make it seem like you got more food, had raw pieces of ginger mixed in and fried which ruined any flavor you were previously enjoying. (they did remove this from our bill without us asking) Our waitress was great and tried to fix everything she could. We ordered an entree (marinated steak and veg kabobs w chimichurri and rice) as an appetizer. That steak was awesome, i wish i had just gotten that for a meal. However their "chimichurri" was just oil... just oil with a minute amount of herbs, no flavor no heat, just oil. that was disappointing but otherwise that dish was great. we both had water, the stainless pitchers that sat around with ice water, allowed the ice to melt which tainted the water taste. Disappointed that this was the experience we had for a birthday outing. We have eaten out at steak houses in STL, Chicago, Niagara falls, New Orleans, Vegas, on the beach in FL, L.A. etc. and this was still the most expensive meal I've ever had.

My husband and I had the shrimp cocktail appetizer very good as always! I was a little disappointed that we did not receive some bread as always before our meal. Perhaps the gentlemen whom served us was new? My husband had the Spaghetti and Meatballs and I had the Angel hair and Pesto with small side of marinara! It was absolutely delicious! We Always try something new when we come that was wonderful. It took quite a while for our bill to arrive and you were quite busy. We do understand how hard it to find wonderful help! He was a good Waiter! Thank you again for a Pleasurable Experience we will be back!

Nice modern fine dining. We had very attentive service throughout the courses and the food was sent out at just the right pace so as not to feel rushed. Food was excellent and cooked exactly to our liking. Their wine list featured a nice mix of both domestic and European wines offering a nice array of tastes without being overwhelmed with options. This establishment is the ideal location for a relaxing dinner amongst friends or just two. I highly recommend the Crème Brûlée.

Our experience was excellent! We went for New years Eve dinner! Our waiter was Francisco he was wonderful! He was very down to earth and pleasant to talk with! He helped me pick out my food since I actually wasn’t as hungry as I thought. I was extremely pleased with the dish he has suggested to me which was the pesto Spaghetti! It was just enough and very good! The ambiance, the music and the staff were excellent! We ALWAYS have a wonderful experimce here!

the Kitchen noise is quite loud. clanking of dishes is very distracting. One of the steaks was cooked a bit over. asked for med-well and got well. The server was great.

Menu choices aren’t the greatest, I ordered the spicy Jumbalaya all I could taste was cayenne pepper. It was like some mistakenly dropped the pepper container onto the pot and just went with it, no real flavor. I ended up eating the rolls and some of my wife’s fries off her plate. We ordered two rum and cokes, one was good the other one they forgot the coke. Not consistent. My wife ordered the ribs which were surprisingly tasty. The atmosphere was good, service was good.

My daughter and I had a reservation for Christmas eve. The restaurant was extremely busy, and our waitress was kept very busy during our visit; despite that, she was very attentive, personable, and checked in on us throughout the meal. We both agreed that she was exceptional and the food was great.

Our reservation was for 6:30 but we weren’t seated until 7pm. We tried to get a drink while we were waiting at the bar but didn’t get waited on. My spouse’s meal was excellent. Mine was incredibly salty. I had the grilled chicken, mashed potatoes, and broccoli. His meal was Meso chicken, vegetables, and rice.

Very accommodating for our senior preference for a table in the corner--easier to sit and talk away from the background music. We so enjoy the variety of the menu and a good match to our senior budgets. The server was friendly and accommodating. The only negative was my jambalaya which was supposed to be prepared not spicy was delivered very spicy. Fortunately the fresh from the oven bread rolls helped deal with the spiciness. We will be back!

It had been some time since we had been to Baxters. We were not disappointed! Loved the atmosphere, the food was wonderful, and the staff was great. Our waitress was not as attentive as we expected, but there were others who helped us. It was a busy time of year with Christmas dinners so I am sure she was just busy with other tables. We felt like we had privacy and were very comfortable with the noise level. Will go back sooner! Reminded why we loved this place in the past! Highly recommend!

Very low light level and we were sat at a booth with a glaringly bright light. Switched to a different booth that was much better. Food was average. The 10 oz. Prime Rib was smaller than I expected. Wife enjoyed the pork chop. Wouldn’t return.

I have dined at this particular restaurant many times since it originally opened under a different name. Earlier this week, I took my girlfriend there for a surprise date night to satisfy her craving for the Halibut. I had made reservations in the OpenTable app, and we were seated promptly upon arrival at the restaurant. While being escorted to our table, I felt something was off and when we sat down I realized what it was. The music was much louder than normal. It was not mood setting background jazz, like has been playing in my past visits to set a comfortable ambiance. It was alternative rock music. Not what I want to hear while dining with my girlfriend at what is supposed to be a nice date night restaurant. Our meals were both cooked accurately to what we ordered, and were brought to our table promptly. Service was a little lackluster, and just average. Considering what I paid for the meal, overall it was just OK.

We have the privilege of working with the top venues in town and offer chef driven custom menus to meet your specific needs. We also offer full catering & staffing to the attached Holiday Inn & Suites Hotel.
