LPB never disappoints! Haven’t been there in many years. It’s even better than I remember! I have been experiencing really lousy scallops at a few local places and NEEDED to be satisfied! They were outstanding!! My friend raved about her dishes too. We were celebrating a birthday and they treated that so well. It was a special evening. The price point is very competitive considering the quality of the meal and worth every penny. And the view!!! It was nice to also see it busy on a Wednesday evening and although business casual, guests were dressed well which added to the sophistication of this truly loved bistro. Merci beaucoup! Nous reviendrons bien sûr. ❤️

The host to the servers were attentive and we we’re celebrating a double special occasion—2yr dating anniversary and my boyfriend’s birthday all in one. Bartolotta was the perfect place as we had a great charcuterie board and split an elegant salmon tapenade dinner with a surprise complimentary mouse cake with berries! Thank you for an awesome evening with a great team staff of Hailey & Kaitlyn!!!

This was our second visit to Bartolotta’s LPB. We reserved the chefs table for 4 that sits pretty much in the kitchen. We loved to watch all the action in the kitchen, it was warm due to its proximity, but well worth it. Ellen and Anna were our fantastic server duo. We got to speak with Austin (exec. sous chef) a couple times. Very welcoming and provided detailed info of the special, Bouillabaisse, which was the best I had ever had! The appetizers were awesome as well, steak tartare was unbelievably fresh! The soups were spectacular, especially the baked French onion. If you love seafood and want it as fresh as possible this is the restaurant for you! The scallops are the best we have ever had. The fresh bread and craft cocktails as well as wine pairings with our entrees were amazing. All in all the entire experience was enjoyable!! We’ll be back again and again! I almost forgot the deserts, I ordered 2, 1 to eat there and the 2nd to take back to our hotel. Enough said…

Every course was delicious. We have dined at Lake Park on many occasions. We always have a wonderful experience. My family had the steak frittes and the muscles and frittes. I highly recommended them!

Service was extremely poor, which is the main reason why I have marked it so low. I had to wait 15 minutes at the bar when we arrived, when we sat down they only gave us a drinks menu, and didn’t come to give us dinner menu or try to take our drinks order for 10 minutes, then she forgot our drinks order, and when my husband said salmon, she heard same and brought him the same as my duck. When my husband said he had ordered salmon, she challenged him, almost arguing with him what he had ordered. Moreover, the food was over cooked, the salmon, the veggies and my son’s medium-rare steak was more like medium well. It was a disappointment. It had been over a year since we’d last gone, and we were looking forward to it. I doubt we will return.

We were seated and then ignored for 9 minutes. Staff seemed overwhelmed. When bread service came, we were given 1 piece of bread and then the basket was empty. We were served soup and the fresh batch of bread came 1/2 way through soup service. At a restaurant like Lake Park Bistro, we expected a much higher level of service.

I was hosting guests from out of town. They were most impressed with the ambiance of the restaurant and the quality of the food. Our waitress was great.

The food was some of the best I've ever had and the service was unbelievable. Both servers were polite, courteous and not too smothering. They asked all the right questions and were there for everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this place and I would go there again.

The Jaute Bistro Menu was a nice way to pair wines with each course that you wouldn't normally be able to on your own. The FOIE GRAS POÊLÉ ET POIRES POCHÉES was exceptional. The SOUPE AUX TRUFFES NOIRES was unique and full of flavor. The TOURNEDOS À LA ROSSINI was wonderful, although there was not enough sauce. The wait staff was highly attentive and very accommodating. Overall, a wonderful experience with a beautiful view of the lake. Highly recommended.

Gracious, thoughtful and non-intrusive service. Excellent meal quality and pace. Lovely ambience, though the Lakeside dining room is loud when full of patrons. Our meals were delicious, interesting, and presented beautifully.

Excellent food! The pre-fix suffered a few slights in quantity. The wine pairings weren’t spot on. I chose the special veal chop, Fois gras and salad with Pinot. Could t have been a better meal. Service was excellent and LPB gets a big round of applause for training a very young staff. Excellent hiring and training process. In today’s world it’s hard to pay these prices but if you do, LPB is giving you something you will remember.

Everything from start to finish was amazing, some of best mussels in the city. Tartare was amazing. Along all of our entrees (filet de boeuf, coq au vin, and steak frites) were all perfection. Props to the chef as well as Haley S, Patrick, and Alyssa. Details to service was exceptional. Very cozy atmosphere. 11/10 highly recommended lake park bistro to all my family and friends. We will be back!

I have been dining at LPB for 30 years with my family and never been disappointed. This was our first Easter with them and I would definitely say not to go during a holiday. The steak was chewy, tasted cheap and my eggs cocotte were WAY over cooked. They are supposed to be soft and runny. These were hard boiled with no flavor. I am not a complainer when it comes to dining, but perhaps they were overwhelmed as it was very, very busy. I’ll be back, but not during a holiday.

The only problem I had was the oeufs en cocot. This is a classic French dish requiring basic technique…and you guys missed it seriously. Check out Jacque Pépin’s book on techniques. It will will walk you right through it. And there is more to it that overcooking three eggs in a soup bowl and tossing some mushrooms on top

Overall a good experience. Service was excellent. Beef tartar was great prep and texture, but a little bland. Salad and French Onion soup were outstanding. Our entres were slightly over-cooked (tournedos and scallops), but flavorful.

Excellent location. Fantastic wait staff!!! Some excellent dishes, but not all dishes were up to par as far as quality and presentation.
