My experience was very underwhelming to say the least My server was good but the food was just mediocre at best I also thought the food being served in the hallway was interesting It was a makeshift setup The hotel is dated and needs a renovation I definitely will not be going back!

My husband and I celebrated our 23rd wedding anniversary at Bar Margot’s Sunday Brunch. We had an amazing experience! This is the BEST Brunch in Atlanta!

Let me start off by saying that I’ve been here probably 10 times over the years. In the past it has always been lovely, but not so much this time. Staff was friendly but not very attentive. Drinks were overpriced. I realize things cost more in today’s world, but $28 for a basic French 75 is laughable. $38 for a meat and cheese board is expensive, but I thought if I’m paying that much it’s going to be fantastic……the cheese was pre-sliced basic stuff, cheap quality. Overall a very disappointing experience compared to what I’ve had in the past.

Good brunch. The server forgot the table course and someone (not sure if it was server or kitchen staff) unsuccessfully packed it to go (only provided the meat and omitted the sides). But, mistakes are inevitable. They seemed apologetic when I brought it to their attention.

From the host to the general manager the entire team gets a 10/10. Charles was our server and he was very knowledgeable and personable. The ambiance was fun and energetic. Definitely will be back thank yall for the awesome experience!

A truly delightful spot. Had dinner at the bar and did not want to leave. Everything was perfect. I have never had better hummus and veggies in my life. Enjoy!

Food regretfully did not live up to brand promise. Steak inedible (due to sinew running through it) and under cooked; all items woefully over-salted. We had high expectations and Bar Margot didn’t deliver.

Terrible. Good on buffet was fine .. not always fresh .. individual portions had been sitting. But worse … everyone forgot our entree order. Server or kitchen made a mistake. But server and manager kept going by table and never asking why we were just sitting and waiting. Definitely not For Seasons quality !!

I had a reservation but still had to wait 15 minutes to be sat down , I don’t like the seating and requested another one which they were kind enough to do so but that took another 15 minutes , food was okay , noise level it’s quite loud , and the service could be better

Beautiful atmosphere (of course). Staff were friendly but not attentive. I had to ask for cream and a spoon for my coffee twice. The pastries line the halls of the second floor balcony for all to pass by without a protective cover. Overall it’s overpriced for a basic brunch.

We haven't been to Bar Margot in awhile and decided to celebrate our actual anniversary here and I'm so glad we did. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable even with the menu that had just changed 2 weeks prior. The cashew hummus caught my eye and presentation is incredible. It's now one of my favorite hummus plates in the city. I will order this again for certain. I was really excited to try the truffle fries after all the rave reviews but sadly, ours came to the table lukewarm and honestly, I ate maybe 5. We left half on the plate. If they served these in a basket wrapped in paper like they do in French restaurants that would help with the temperature, perhaps they have. But for the record, the BEST truffle fries are at Ajax Tavern in the The Little Nell hotel in Aspen. If ya'll can make them like Ajax, you'd have a standing room only restaurant. I also ordered the sweet potato ravioli - the presentation and taste were perfect. Also the crispy Brussels sprouts were a winner! Like the cashew hummus, I'd order the ravioli and sprouts again in a heartbeat. My spouse had the snapper and it smelled fishy, was teeny, overly vinegar, and overpriced. He didn't want to send it back but would never order it again. Our server brought us a rich chocolate and berry anniversary dessert with glasses of bubbles which was very kind. We celebrated our anniversary in the mountains the weekend before and the other restaurant we went to did zero to acknowledge us - not even saying happy anniversary, thank you for spending it with us. Zero. Thank you Bar Margot for making our actual day feel so special and confirm that we made the right choice (even if some of the food was meh) it won't stop us from coming back. We'll just avoid the snapper and ask for the fries to be HOT!

Bar Margot is an excellent choice for dinner if you're heading to the ASO afterwards; an easy 5-10 minute walk. We've dined here many times and tried many menu items. All have ranged from very good to excellent. Last Thursday's meal was great and the service (Thank you, Ruth) was outstanding.

The lunch menu was fantastic and had reasonable prices for the great quality of food. I am definitely going back as the environment was not loud or super busy and the staff was very attentive.

Some of the pastries tasted old, it was not worth the money. The sitting area was very tight not enough room for your plates. The fried chicken was extremely salty. It did not feel like brunch, but lunch or early dinner.

Best bottomless brunch in ATL. Our server Yani went out of her way to make things extra special for us. Her service was top teir. Chef Sosa was amazing and came out to greet tables.

The food was delicious, but the seating felt a bit out of place as we were overlooking the lobby. It was our anniversary, so the server brought us a dessert. Though we were not given a chance to choose the dessert, we were charged for it. It felt a bit odd to be charged for something we did not choose.

The service here was wonderful. We ate at the bar one night and in the restaurant/bar a couple nights later. Nick and Travis were both so genuinely nice and interested in their customers and provided great service. Food and wine were both very good! My only complaint was that when we were in the restaurant (which is still part of the bar) the music with so loud with such a crazy base that my friend and I couldn't talk.

My first time experiencing Bar Margot. From the moment I entered, we were accommodated with a complimentary glass of Prosecco due to our table not being ready. The wait was not long at all. The ambience/vibe is very grown & sexy. It’s very diverse also. I’ll be coming back to experience Bar Margot soon.

While the drinks were good and we heard good things about the burger, we were not impressed. The burger was just okay and for the$28 price did not find it of value for just a burger (no side). Actually have had much better for half the price. My wife had the pasta and did add salmon to it as otherwise it would have been a small plate of pasta. Again the salmon was not up to par. I suppose being in the hotel and having people pay with an expense account is what they market towards but I feel there are plenty of better restaurantes to try within walking distance.

I'm a general fan of this restaurant. We went to brunch and of course the price had gone up and you got less. The service could be a bit more attentive. Now it has switched to "family style," which is just a clever way of saying one individualized dish split between one table. We (there were 3 of us) ordered the fried chicken because it seemed like the best sharable option out of the limited 3. They proudly brought 3 pieces of luke-warm chicken and two small, equally disappointing side dishes. Now, in my family , no one eats just 1 piece of chicken at dinner. There is a buffet with multiple stations. However, some of the dishes were risky and not executed well. Plus, they seemed to struggle at some stations to keep them well stocked (ex: the seafood area stayed low & and completely ran out of cocktail sauce). Overall, it just was ok.

Great brunch but the service was ok. They didn’t offer tea/coffee or juices even though those are included in the menu and sparkling water was very pricey too. The stations didn’t do a good job at explaining the food so you’re kind of on your own trying to figure out what the food is. The food was great, but expected more from the service knowing the price point (brunch buffet starts at $89/person) and the automatic 20% service charge.
