    Disappointing: chewy bread, sandy whelks and tasteless (as the mussels, rest of seafood was nice) opera was too sweet and Paris Brest filling not great

    We had a really good time . All our main courses were amazing the only one complain I had is that we found the raspberry soufflé a bit too sweet for our taste but was a great meal all in all

    I ate at Balthazar with two friends and we enjoyed the food and ambience greatly. We would recommend it. The only reason that I have not given this full marks is because the three of us were put on a table for two so there was very little room for the bread basket, glasses, bottle of wine alongside our plates and we had to keep moving items on and off the table.

    Just ok! It could be better! We arrived at the restaurant around 10pm. There were many empate tables, and they seated us in a small table. The starters are very good, but the main course withouth flavor.

    We arrived earlier than our reservation and they told us they don’t have any table for us but on the booking system we were able to change our reservation to an earlier time and then suddenly they had a table… not great experience at all and the food very average

    Been In Balthazar few times . Food is great , a bit crowded but manageable. It’s a bit disappointing that a staff had to tell us to vacate the table as it getting busy since the food ordered took a bit of time to bring it to our table as much as we want to enjoy it but asked us to vacate the table coz it’s busy apparently…. it’s was a let down for me

    Great service and atmosphere with a consistently good quality of food for a lovely leisurely lunch. The 2 or 3 course prix fixe was on a par with a la carte equivalents and good value at £26 and £29. £50 per head with wine, coffee and service charge.

    Balthazar London is in a word amazing. My second time in as many months because it is such good value and quality. Can't wait to visit again
