It is always a great experience to go to Baci The waiters are very friendly and knowledgeable The food we ordered was excellent We could not have the sea urchin pasta becas they ran out if ingredients 😩

The service and staff make this an exceptional place to take family and friends. There are other Italian restaurants with good food but Baci has the best service and friendliest staff hands down.

First I called and asked if our reservation could be earlier and they were accommodating. We sat in a nice table soon after we arrived and were waited on immediately. The waiter was very attentive, the food was excellent and the ambiance up beat but private. It was our first time visiting Baci’s and we will definitely return!

very classic--old school italian food --- cocktails were well executed -- all the food was good -- they were helpful with the gluten alergy person in the party -- i was hoping for a little more flair for the price-- the lamb ragu with pasta was good but quite simple ---

My favorite restaurant for special occasions. You’re welcomed warmly. The service is excellent as of course the food! I’ve tried most everything and have never been disappointed.

A lovely experience from the beginning. Very tiny but very nice bar area, several small dining room, a large patio setting dining room. We really felt cared for and we were well taken care of.

Charming old world feeling. Staff considerate, helpful but service felt a tad rushed. A super wine but poured too quickly, in between bites instead of courses. Still, overall a nice cozy place for good Italian.

I have been going to Baci's for over 40 years. Baci's is the finest italian and seafood restaurant in all of San Diego.

Baci is an excellent Italian restaurant and an elegant and excellent place to celebrate special occasions. This time we had a perfect dinner to celebrate a birthday. The octopus was tender and tasty. Calimari on fettucini with ink sauce was perfect. Swordfish Oreganata was perfectly prepared and delicious. Veal Parmesan, perfect. And Tiramisu for dessert!

Baci is always a win win. Everything is always spot on, from the drinks, to the service and the waitstaff, the welcoming and of course authentic delicious meals. It has a great local following and is pleasantly off the beaten path.

We had another fine meal last night at one of my favorite restaurants. Giovanni, our server, was excellent. My vongole was terrif as usual. . My wife had halibut, which was very tasty. Baci is consistently a very good restaurant with a competent staff.

Made a group reservation for my family who all traveled to San Diego and we were very pleased with our experience. The food is fantastic, the wine was well curated, and the service is phenomenal. They made our large party feel at home and we had the most amazing family dinner!

Team Baci. From the bar with Mario, all the way thru to the kitchen! These guys know what they are doing. Their hospitality, their gastronomic excellence, WOW. Just a total package. Will return each time I’m in SD.

This our fourth trip to Baci. The food, service, ambience is superb and consistent. Surprisingly when go out to eat Italian is not out first thought, however, any special occasion calls for a trip to Baci. This restaurant is serious about what it does. Baci is a special experience.

Good but not very authentic Italian food. Bad smell of cleaning product when entering the restaurant and the atmosphere and ambiance wasn’t our favorite. It’s very dark in there with a decor that isn’t the most pleasant. We won’t be back.

Great meal, as always, at one of San Diego’s finest restaurants. We split a delicious burrata to begin, then enjoyed two veal dishes as entrees: piccata for my wife and a luscious chop with roasted garlic for me. We finished with tasty Tiramisu. Add in a nice bottle of Santi Amarone and it made a memorable evening. Service from Adam was friendly and professional.
