Bacari PDR is a Venetian-inspired small plates restaurant featuring Mediterranean-influenced dishes by Chef Lior Hillel. We are the 2nd restaurant of Kronfli Brothers, a family-owned, growing group of restaurants in the Los Angeles area. Offering a rotating curation of small-production wines, unique cocktails, and eclectic beers from around the world, we are also known for our one-of-a-kind 90-minute open bar special. We welcome but do not require reservations — we love to accommodate walk-ins and large parties, even on busy nights.

Similar to many times before, my partner and I had another great dining experience at Bacari PDR. This is one of our favorite places to come to for a relaxed and fun dining experience. We had out of the country guests, and wanted to make sure they had a good experience in LA. And we weren’t disappointed. We arrived a few minutes early and were seated immediately. The waitress checked for any food allergies or restrictions. As usual, the food was great - small plates of creative renderings of everything from beets, kale and grape tomatoes to sea bass, chicken sliders, falafel and pork belly. There’s some version of almost everything. There’s also a small offering of desserts, but every one pulls its weight. I always have the double chocolate cake!! Oh! They also have a great choice of drinks and cocktails. Very often I stick to their tasty homemade sangria. Overall a very consistent great experience.

This was my first time at this location ! Brandy was out server in training and she was awesome! Thank you for a great experience at the PDR location!

Love Bacari! Was lucky enough to book the indoor seating! The ambience was very vintage rustic. Music was great and not too loud. The service was great and accommodated any requests we had! The food is somewhat tapas-style but are pretty sizeable! The sea bass and pork belly were amazing! 10/10 would come again. Great for date night!

Great recommendations for food. Everything we tried was delicious. They are tapas size plates so sharing required, but a bit pricey so I cannot eat there weekly. It is right on Vista del Mar so it can be noisy with traffic.

Bacari has always been my go-to spot in Playa and will continue to be because the food is great (period). Went there last night with a large party, and our server Trevor was fantastic. Caution on that open bar though - can be quite dangerous.

Some of our food (salad greens and avocado on the avocado toast) was spoiled. The bread in the avocado toast was terrible. They kept giving us new servers but then the old server would return and ask us the same thing the new one had asked. The patio was crumby looking and uncomfortably sloped. the music was way too loud. The ceviche was really good.

Great service and great food! Love the outdoor patio, close to the beach! Signature cocktails are pricey but delicious!! We love this place for special occasions!

Great food and cocktails. Service was great, only negative was the food came out at very different times, there were two of us dining and one meal arrived around ten minutes before the other - but it was a busy holiday weekend so this definitely won’t stop me from returning
