b. Matthew’s Eatery is a one-of-a-kind bistro serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch in a renovated historic building in Savannah’s Historic Landmark District.

What started out as a casual deli and bakery has evolved into a full-service eatery with menus that feature a variety of traditional and southern-style dishes. We use fresh, seasonal, high-quality ingredients and source locally when possible. You won't want to miss our famous Fried Green Tomatoes or Shrimp & Grits when you visit Savannah!

Haven't been in years and it was delicious as I remembered! Took family visiting and it was perfect, southern menu and calming atmosphere to enjoy breakfast and conversation. Our server was great. We will be back soon!

This was our second time to B. Matthew’s, unfortunately it was disappointing. Bloody Mary’s were excellent and the service we received from Melissa was awesome, but that’s where it ended. I ordered the simple biscuits and sausage gravy - both biscuits were extremely dense and lacked any flavor, even with the sausage gravy which was also flavorless. How do you make sausage gravy w/o any flavor and it was very thin?!? My wife ordered the chicken biscuit with sausage gravy and home fries. Her biscuit and gravy the same as mine, additionally her home fries completely tasteless. Small potato chunks w/o any flavor……very disappointing !

Best shrimp and grits ever ! Lovely experience, Nathaniel was excellent. Food was great ! Biscuits are amazing !

We were able to make our reservation after a sunset cruise. We were well taken care of by Nathaniel, and really enjoyed our food.

Pretty delicious. Really enjoyed the vegan risotto, I added blacked shrimp however keep it vegan just add meat. It was light but also filling and not heavy to where you want to take a nap after a meal

We went for brunch on a Tuesday. It was fine. We were sat under the stairs despite several other tables open in daylight areas. Server spent as little time as possible with us. Food was fine, but I expected better based on other reviews. Maybe it was just an off day, but probably not one I’d recommend with so many other options in the area.
