Excellent food; portions were generous. Ask to sit in the back “garden.” We had moules frites (which I must’ve had 2-3 dozen), the beef stew which was so tender it just fell apart, and an egg sandwich that must’ve used about a dozen eggs. All came with fries. All delicious…

The draft Belgian specialties are amazing. You can taste and the mixologist is exceptionally knowledgeable. We all five had different entrees and all were marvelous especially the mussels and chicken pot pie. Sit in the Garden if you can. It is so lovely and they will adjust the volume of the music so you can converse without shouting!

Booked the place for a birthday lunch for my son. The downstairs dining room was very pleasant. We would have sat in the back garden but it was a bit chilly. The mussels were outstanding and they had several dishes that had at their base a Belgian waffle. We had two different kinds and both were excellent. Don’t miss the Belgian beer on tap.

This is a fantastic neighborhood place. A true gem with a pleasant outdoor space, top-notch curated Belgian beer selection and the best burger and fries on the UES. Yes! It’s true. Don’t stand in line at other places. Make B. Cafe part of your regular rotation.

The mussels were delicious & unlike some other places they give you enough to share. The French fries are included & are made to perfection, crispy like they should be. The warm pretzel is my favorite appetizer & it’s gigantic

Unfortunately the day I invited a friend for brunch, for a reason completely unclear the kitchen stopped taking orders. The servers stopped coming to our table as well. I had to “hunt” for someone to come over to at least order some beverages. No explanations were given why the kitchen was having trouble. Another issue: at arrival, although I had made reservation long time ago, I had to “push” to be seated before other people who clearly had no reservation. When finally we received our order, food was good and nicely prepared but came lukewarm. At that point, we were starving and I was pressed then by time as I had a plane to catch. I planned all so well to go so wrong. Sadly…

Good experience. Nasty hostess. Could be a little bit more polite. In 3 occasions made nasty remarks. Otherwise the good and waiters where good.

We found B Cafe on Open Table for brunch. We were a large party of 8. They placed us outside in a magnificent “greenhouse enclosure”. The staff were super accommodating and everyone had a great time. We ordered omelette, waffles, steak sandwiches and brioche French toast. The coffee, mimosas beer selection were first rate. All in all, it was a great fine. We had a wonderful time.

The food is reportedly good, but when we went they told us we had to wait 15 mins to order because the kitchen was overwhelmed, but 45 minutes later we were still not allowed to order and were given no heads up or offer to leave and come back a different time

We had weekend brunch here so did not try the regular menu. But the brunch menu had lots to offer and we liked everything we ordered. The best parts are the waffles, the frites, and the Belgian beer! The wait staff was really excellent. We were seated in the back patio area which was very airy and pleasant.

We came to take advantage of the Restaurant Week menu but we certainly will come back for the regular menu. Jillian our server was patient and knew so much about the beer selection and what would pair with our food selection. I highly suggest the mussel dishes on the menu This vey well may become our neighborhood choice

The service was terrible. We had to flag down a server after we’d been seated for over 10 minutes, it took forever to get our drinks (and he forgot one of them), our appetizer took forever then ended up coming out a few minutes before our food, which defeated the purpose of ordering an app. Then we had to ask several times for syrup and salt and pepper (I finally had to get up and go to the bar to request salt and pepper). Our server never proactively came to our table and only when we waived him down did he come over. And when he did, he wasn’t friendly and acted like we were bothering him (I noticed him standing in front of the bar chatting with the other servers often during g our meal. Terrible terrible service, food was quite good, but honestly not worth it give. The terrible service.
