Established over a decade ago, Aurora restaurant is a landmark of the Italian cuisine in the vibrant neighborhood of Williamsburg.
Aurora creates a perfect balance of tradition and innovation, with a great respect for seasonality, by combining top quality Italian imports, sustainably grown local produce and house-made specialties.
The wine program offers a list of over 150 labels, along with craft beers, signature cocktails, and a full liquor bar.
The rustic and charming dining room with exposed brick walls and high ceilings, opens to an intimate, leafy garden, enclosed during the colder months, and perfect for a relaxing dinner "al fresco" during the warm season.

Loved the rustic ambience and food was delicious. Upscale and pricey but enjoyable for every palate. Staff and service was kind and friendly. Will definitely be back.

Despite of a completely packed restaurant the kitchen made the magic happen again. Delicious squash blossoms, perfectly grilled octopus with confit lemon and baby peppers, a beautiful new beef tonnato. Then the ever so great pappardelle, a succulent duck breast, excellent grilled fish and a risotto that went so well with the fantastic 2019 Gattinara. The desserts were all classics and executed immaculately. Tutto molto buono!

The food here was ok, and service was not the best. Server wasn’t helpful and never came to check if we were doing ok or if the food was good. It was my first time and will be my last time.

Food is outstanding. Started with a glass of “Super Tuscan” blend of Syrah, Sangiovese and some other red wine. Outstanding. Split a Tuscan Kale salad with husband which was also excellent. He had the duck breast which he loved, but portion was small. Shishito peppers on the side. Loved them. Had pappardelle with ox tail we both loved it. For dessert, the olive oil cake with gelato and husband had flourless chocolate cake - both wonderful. The only issue was the restaurant is not too big and was pretty loud. There is an outdoor space that would probably be quieter. But you can’t beat the food.

Love this place though it was VERY loud on a Friday night. The staff is so special and lovely, and the food never disappoints.

First time there and it was definitely worth the drive from Riverdale. Service was great, food was excellent and so were the drinks. Definitely will return.

When a restaurant is crowded and you order interesting food, it is always a measure of the place on how quickly it comes out. Too quickly means it’s been pre-prepared and left there under heaters waiting to be served up - already a little ‘turned’ HOWEVER . A little bit of time means it has been prepared just for you. And that’s the beauty of this restaurant. Everything is absolutely beautifully prepared. And just for you …..go there, you won’t be disappointed

Come all the way from from Stamford, CT. Been here a few times now, specials are always our go to now since we’ve tried most of the menu. Ambiance, food, and drinks is always great, me and my gf always enjoy it here. Attentive staff, can’t forget that.

Having recently returned from the United Kingdom, one of the first places I came back to, was this wonderful restaurant, where I had the opportunity of introducing a dear friend to the fantastic food, hospitality and authentic atmosphere. Justin is quite the connoisseur and he was incredibly impressed with the magnificent risotto and the beautifully prepared Seabass. Everything about this place is simply excellent.

Everything about this restaurant is top notch. The setting itself has a feeling of being somewhere in the country, brick walls, wooden beams, very interesting lights and so much more. The food was delicious. We had several of the appetizers first and loved each one-artichokes, arancini, delicata squash and a fresh order of foccacia. Our mains were great too, my son ordered the steak and said it was much better than a 5 star steak restaurant in Manhattan. And the people who served us, were friendly and engaging with our 2 year old grandson who loved the gelato. We will definitely return once again.

The food was excellent, but our server was a little less than attentive, and pretty roughly told us that she had to take our appetizer and entrée order all at once. Additionally, she did not check on us, until our meal was practically over. The food was excellent and we had Arancini croquettes, Cacio E Pepe, oxtail, Ragu, 2 house cocktails, 2 reisling and chocolate torte. Everything was excellent.

Went here on a whim with my girlfriends for brunch and was very disappointed. We got the arancini to start and the rice wasn’t fully cooked. It also came as an order of 3 and we were a group of 4 so would’ve been nice if the waitress mentioned that as we ordered. The burger didn’t have much taste and the eggs Benedict weren’t hot. The French toast was fine and so was the lobster eggs although it was very rich and couldn’t finish more than a few bites. Overall we found it to be overpriced and underwhelming.

It was a perfect lunch. We came back for the first time since having our wedding there, and the manager Mickey welcomed us an remembered us and was so attentive and above and beyond thoughtful. We had a perfect lunch!
