Established over a decade ago, Aurora restaurant is a landmark of the Italian cuisine in the vibrant neighborhood of Williamsburg.
Aurora creates a perfect balance of tradition and innovation, with a great respect for seasonality, by combining top quality Italian imports, sustainably grown local produce and house-made specialties. 
The wine program offers a list of over 150 labels, along with craft beers, signature cocktails, and a full liquor bar.
The rustic and charming dining room with exposed brick walls and high ceilings, opens to an intimate, leafy garden, enclosed during the colder months, and perfect for a relaxing dinner "al fresco" during the warm season.
Aurora is a great spot for a romantic date, a casual getting together with friends, or private events.

    Normally this is my favorite restaurant but when we came in on Sunday it took 10 minutes before we were even acknowledged by our waitress maybe she was new but she was unapologetic and brash when she finally did come over we decided just to leave.

    We had a perfect Father’s Day’s celebration and was everything we expected. Burgers and eggs hollandaise were perfectly cooked to our liking . Overlooked at others people dishes and all looked appetizing .

    Simply one of the top 3 in Brooklyn. An exquisite and always thoughtful menu ever changing and always enough choice. Service that is absolutely perfect. Always incredibly courteous and never overwhelming. As a traveller of the world, I love this beautiful jewel that is most definitely not ornate yet still like somebody’s kitchen nevertheless. One of my favourites. Best compliment I can pay them-is I wish I owned them.

    3 stars overall - food was excellent, service was excellent, atmosphere was excellent. Docking a couple of stars because they served up borderline raw scallops, it got sent back, and then THE SAME scallops came out on a new plate, the kitchen didn’t even bother cooking them. That was not cool, and our waiter agreed. That being said, Aurora made it right, I ended up just ordering the steak which was perfect. We will def go here again because of the service, atmosphere and quality of food (when it’s edible ;) )

    Love this place. Cozy interior by the bar and lovely outdoor patio. Friendly & efficient staff. I wish I asked to go light on the salt in all the dishes. I was so thirsty afterward. Otherwise all was really good.

    We have been going to Aurora for a few years. Always loved the food and the ambiance. This last time we noticed that food was still delicious but portion size and service went down. What a shame!

    The gnoochi was absolutely sublime! The oxtail ragu amazing as always. We loved the cocktails and my youngest said “this is my favorite waitress I have ever had here!” Our favorite neighborhood restaurant❤️
