It's a beautiful place -- though the dining room is old, so clean and fresh, upbeat looking. And the service was downright superb, we loved our waitress. The food was to our palates mediocre. The haddock was dry, less than really-fresh, and soaked with sauce. The fried clams were tasty but the batter was soggy (not crispy). Cod was kinda tasteless underneath the Nantucket-style coating However, despite that, the ambience and service made for a very pleasant experience.

Second time here. Brilliant experience first time but this time the service still great, yet food is so so. The spaghetti was tangled and became a chunk of hardened noodle, not edible.

This was our first time at this restaurant. We sat in a nice booth and the ambience was very nice and our waiter was exceptional. We started out trying to order a half bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon and they were out of both of our selections. The manager came up and offered to open a bottle, so we could purchase by the glass, which was more expensive than by the half bottle. He offered us free dessert to make up the difference, which was nice! Both my wife and I ordered the corn pudding for a vegetable dish and both of them came out lukewarm. Our waiter return them and brought out two replacements that were hot. I ordered a pound and a quarter lobster, which was very tasty. It came out with no cracker or small fork or bowl for the shells as well as no bib. These were brought out when I asked for them. My wife ordered halibut and it was very good.

Foods and services are wonderful! I was with my clients and they were so pleased to visit and having great dishes. It is kinda noisy to having conversations but it is OK.

Great service, great seafood. The halibut was cooked to perfection. The whole branzino was well presented and delicious! The raw seafood was also excellent.

Great night. It was super busy and they were very accommodating . Our waitress Mate was great. Food was delicious. Great cod, lobster bisque, lobster roll, French fries, Cesar salad. Great drinks and wines by the glass.

Keep returning here because it is simply the best quality seafood, steaks, etc. with excellent service and good wine list. Love these guys, especially with a group or celebration.

It was overall pricey with a very fair quality of food. But the service was extremely slow and horrible! We waited 45 mn to get our fish dish, and another 30 minutes for our desert that only needed serving! The manager never came and we were not even asked about what went wrong. I will not come back surely.

Absolutely fantastic as always. The food is always top notch. Love the tuna tartare, clam chowder, salads with added grilled fish. Service is always of the highest quality. One of my favorites in Boston for sure!

Very lively and vibrant setting. Everyone is clearly excited to be there. It’s a bit loud but still fabulous. Our waiter, RANDY, was outstanding. The food was spectacular and very fresh. Will definitely be back when we return.

Made reservation quite some time ago with a note it is to celebrate a graduation as my boyfriend and I both graduated that day. We selected it for the decor and food. Despite this, we were seated directly next to the door and where extra chairs were being moved around. It was freezing so two people in our party kept their coats on and we kept having to move our chairs in when people were waiting directly next to us. Then our server took a while to come over to even fill water glasses and greet us. Next, he condescindingly told me “they’re both brut, you can go with the regular glass” when I asked the difference between the two champagne glasses on the menu. Apps were amazing and most entrees amazing. Mine was overcooked to medium/medium well and condescending server strikes again when I said it was not medium rare and told me “it’s definitely medium rare.” It was sent back and the manager was super nice and apologetic, he was honestly the only high point of this. The steak came back, rare and with a bunch of extra sides. Overall very disappointing experience, it took away from what was supposed to be celebratory.

Best eats and service we found during our visit. The server was knowledgeable and knew about everything on the menu. The food was fresh, elegantly preaented, and fairly priced. Plan for parking and arrive early because the word is out that this is a good dining experience.

Very popular place,definitely recommend reservations. We arrived at 9pm for our reservation and the place was still packed. We were taken care of by Tony. He was funny, charismatic and very attentive. We each started with their award winning clam Chowder; it was delicious, creamy and the perfect blend of all the ingredients. Then we had the lobster crab Louie, yum!! That was delicious too, fresh, refreshing and the avocado with tomatoes really gave it beautiful combination of flavors. We shared the New England Cioppino. It was big enough to share and I’m glad we did because we were able to finish it and still room for a bite of dessert. That we could not finish. They gave healthy portions This place is a seafood lovers dream. Will definitely be returning when we come back into Boston!

Great customer service. Everyone we interacted with was super friendly and professional. The food was so good. Probably the best sea bass I’ve ever eaten! Wine was excellent. Nothing bad to say except a little loud for my liking but it didn’t distract from my overall eating experience!
