Arthurs Steakhouse started in 1948 by Arthurs Bates and his wife off of McKinney Avenue in the Dallas uptown District. It moved to the Gold Towers on Central Expressway and after decades, in 2001, it relocated to Addison where is thrives today. Now withstanding the test of over 70 years, Arthurs Steakhouse offers a grand setting with a Rat Pack Chic vibe and high style for guests to relax and enjoy fine dining with nightly entertainment. You are welcomed into the main dining room by the giant 600 lb Baccarat Crystal Chandelier that suspends over the main dining room. The main dining room is surrounded by 1200 gallons of fresh water aquariums with colorful fish to watch you dine. Arthurs invites you to dine with them in the same way a friend invites you to their home. Five star dining with menu features like Escargot, Crab Cakes, Champagne Brie Soup, Tournedos Rossini, and Chocolate Souffles for dessert. The wine list is extensive and affordable.

Beautiful restaurant, outstanding service and good food. The bar/lounge area had great music and entertainment for listening and dancing pleasure. The maitre'd was excellent and moved us to a more cozy booth, and our waiter (Cavet?) was very pleasant and engaging.

Service is always outstanding and the food was delicious once again. Not sure how you can run out of asparagus on a Friday night - but things happens. The atmosphere and decor is second to none. I highly recommend. My biggest complaint is selection of wines by the glass. Not many, not many good ones either and nothing stands out

We celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary in Arthur's because we read great reviews about it and we were not disappointed. The service, the food, the environment were all great, we had a great time and all of the staff made it better with their outstanding service. Saturday nights have live music we really enjoyed it. For another celebration we won't look too much because Arthur's is the place. Thank you for all our celebration was great.

My mother has lived in Dallas for over 45 years. She has been to every steak house, or she thought. This was her and my first experience at Arthur’s. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone. Food and service were excellent!

So loud with some sort of party in the bar. Sounded like Karaoke The food was delicious (except it was a bit cold) but the service was subpar. The waiter (for having been there over 20 years) made mistakes while explaining the menu and had to revise his promises. They also spilled while serving both wine and water and seems to trip over each other to serve the table. Very slow to deliver the food. Dessert was super sweet and not much flavor - soufflé as delivered after it fell and lukewarm warm. Would not go back or recommend.

It's quite a grand space, and food and service were very good. But there was LOUD music in the adjoining bar space, too loud to enjoy dinner all the way at the other side of the BIG dining room. That there were only two other tables occupied at 7:30 on a Friday night tells you there's a problem. I would not recommend.

Food was good. Service was excellent. Atmosphere is beautiful—very traditional, old-school steakhouse formal. This was our first time and we enjoyed it. I thought the prices were more reasonable than many other really nice steakhouses.

Enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere of the restaurant. The stuffed salmon was delicious and cooked perfect. Husband’s steak was a little dry cooked medium. Overall nice evening.

This place has gone downhill. It smelled like sewage throughout the restaurant, food was fine but not worth the cost, drinks were watered down and the bathroom had standing water in the stalls. Sad to see as this place was a gem.

Great old style restaurant settimg. Excellent service and atmosphere. Great escargot, salad and steaks. Sides were creamed spinach and marsala mushrooms; tasty. Great crème bulee and wine selection. If you like great steaks this is the place to go

My wife and I love going to Arthurs for dinner. It is our favorite restaurant. Our server is always outstanding and we are greeted when we enter like family. This is rare in todays culture. The food is always outstanding, never fails to be 5 stars. Thanks you to all the cooks, servers and management for your excellence. So appreciated

Food is ok but service was terrible, she was so rude how she service us. She told us we can’t share anything she yelled so loud and repeated many times. She serve entree without utensils, she took them all after appetizers. We asked for take pictures she said no she busy with the attitude and never come back until the end want good tips. We still gave her 20% by accident that she was not deserved. She never introduced herself l have to asked from another server her name is Brigette. She said even we don’t order appetizer or dessert we have to pay anyway! Is that right? We end up order everything but can’t eat. We just tell you because you asked for experience. l didn’t want her to get fired she old maybe think she knows too much! She just need to be kind and sweet server. Give her a chance.

My wife and I had reservations at Arthur's for Valentine's Day. The atmosphere and band were great and we really liked the ambience. We danced after our meal and had a fun time. However, where we were seated, the wait staff was continually walking in between our table and the columns where my wife and I were seated. One waiter even asked my wife to scoot in. She was already in. Both of our chairs were bumped many times during the meal. The meal was only alright. For the price of the meal, we were expecting better food. The crab cake mixed with coleslaw was terrible. When I ordered crab cakes, I didn’t expect cole slaw inside. I ordered my steak medium-well. I instructed the waitress that if they can't make it medium-well, just make it well-done. I was served a steak that was medium-rare. I had to send it back while the rest of the table ate. When we went to leave, we asked our food leftovers be boxed to go. When we got home, we had received someone else's half eaten food. We don't plan to return.

We were there on Valentines Day so it was very busy. The service was a little slower than usual but our waiter was excellent. Loved the food and drinks. We stayed a while and danced. Again--it was crowded so didn't get a good table but the band was very good. Fun music and dancing. It made for a very special evening!!

I didn't like the fact that you could only order from a preset menu only for Valentines. This was not disclosed on their website when we booked our reservations. The main course ribeye steaks, asparagus and potatoes were extremely bland. The appetizers and desserts were good. Service slow. The band was good. Ambience was nice!

My wife and I were seated for Valentine’s Day at a table for two in a room with three large groups. As the groups arrived the noise eventually just became overbearing. The main reason we came was for the music and it was nonexistent due to a short in electrical equipment. As we walked around the restaurant after our meal, we discovered there were numerous other places they could’ve seated us that would have been much quieter and certainly more romantic. A very disappointing date night!

We went for the prix fixe (appetizer, entree, and dessert) Valentine's Day special 2/14/2024. I got the crab cake with Southern slaw, crab stuffed salmon, and the creme brulee, and husband got the wedge salad, sea bass, and key lime pie. The cost for both of us before tip was $200-220 no alcoholic beverages, only diet pepsi/coke. The food was good, but it was definitely overpriced. We calculated what we would have spent had we come on a night without prix fixe, and is was 30-40$ less expensive. Waited to be seated less than 10 minutes, service was pretty good. Ambiance was pleasant (Roman columns and traditional design), but the women's bathroom was BAD - smelly and very dark. Definitely needs a remodel and brighter lights. Valet parking was available, but there was plenty of very close self-parking for free.

We are delighted to report that Arthur’s Restaurant as a music and dancing venue is back. The stage for the band and sound system is better than ever. The dance floor is still small, but better than most other restaurants. The food was excellent as always.

Went for date night and early St Valentine’s Day with my wife…Everything is perfect my table reservation is ready on time and had a couple of drinks at the bar and they had live entertainment music it’s a special place to take your wife to have an amazing and wonderful time.

Great overall upscale dining experience! Food was amazing, service from our server, Christian was excellent. The ambiance is classic taking you back to another time. We had a private dining booth, which just added to the charm. We will definitely be going back. We highly recommend!

Love the delicious food, presentation, pace, live music and traditional feel! We truly enjoyed every bite of the filet medallions Oscar and Sea Bass dinners. The decadent chocolate mousse was the perfect dessert to end our fantastic dining experience!

Although interactions by phone with the restaurant were less than stellar, and in fact I found the Host/Manager (not sure which) to be extremely condescending, the group that I made the reservation for enjoyed the food immensely and only had a minor complaint about the noise level.
