Named for Master Chef Antonio Avona, Antonio Ristorante has been serving authentic Italian cuisine in Dallas since 1998. Creating truly wonderful dishes for over thirty years, Chef Avona continues to impress with his daily specials. His inspiration comes from his roots in Italy where he began training as a chef over forty years ago.

Using only the freshest ingredients, Chef Avona's menu offers a diverse selection of pasta, steak, veal, chicken, and fresh fish which changes daily. Antonio also offers an Award Winning Pizza menu including Capricciosa, Margherita, and more. For wine aficionados, the wine list features an extraordinary selection of Italian wines, all very reasonably priced with many served by the glass.

In addition to the regular dining menu and wine list, Chef Antonio will personally work with you to create the menu of your choice for these events, and gladly fulfill any special requested items. We had a great belated dinner for Mother’s Day. Everything thoroughly enjoyed the food, and Moe was amazing!

Despite living nearby for many years, this was our first time to come to this neighborhood gem. The server was very personable and the food excellent. Nice wine list.

Antonio’s is one of our favorite restaurants. Classic Italian fare, many choices including steaks and seafood if you choose not to indulge in one of their yummy pasta dishes. We love the calamari appetizer. This is the only place around that serves spumoni ice cream for dessert. It’s so refreshing! I wish more places would serve it. Excellent service always. Full wine list and reasonable prices. You can’t go wrong with Antonio’s!

This was our first time to come here and we will definitely be back! Sergio was a great server and the food was delicious!! Met the manager and he was very friendly too! Enjoyed my frozen Bellini’s and the wine selection was fantastic! Very romantic evening for us!!!!

I had my family birthday dinner here and it was outstanding!! The service, the atmosphere, the food. Omg the food not a single complaint!! And my server Sandra was amazing.

The server and atmosphere were amazing, and we came during a slow shift, so it was quiet. I ordered the new work steak, and it was full of fat. I got the steak cooked medium rare, but the outside was charred. My fiance got the chicken artichoke dish that was over cooked as well.

Great service, nice atmosphere, attentive waiter and great food. Short rib with pasta was excellent. Risotto dish was prepared perfectly. Lobster special was spicy and seasoned perfect. Great place for a party or night out on town. Food is worth the price.

We came here for the first time to celebrate a very special birthday for a family member and we were pleasantly surprised! The food and ambience were outstanding! Even the salad tasted better than every non chain restaurant we’ve ever eaten at. We will definitely be back to try more Italian dishes.

We had reservations but there was a very long wait for tables. We ended up leaving after a while because there were enough people there who also had reservations and were waiting. I think the restaurant can do better in terms of managing reservations. Please at least call and let folks know to come late or cancel. Restaurants expect the same courtesy from guests when they are running late. I like the restaurant. It was a disappointing experience though.

Nice quiet restaurant with good, interesting menu selections. A few things to mention. Garlic bread appetizer was overtoasted and hard. Arugula salad very tasty and nicely dressed. Main courses were very good and served at good temperature. Dessert was very tasty though small for sharing. Prices were higher than I remember and a little pricey. Very good date place.

This restaurant is a favorite of ours. We have been going for years. The food, service and atmosphere is wonderful and always consistent. They have great wine tasting events as well.

We celebrated my son‘s graduation from university and had a perfect evening. The food was delicious and the restaurant was decorated very nicely. It was also a beautiful table with good acoustics. My wife and I will definitely be back this winter for a romantic dinner for two.

We were celebrating 2 birthdays and the food and service were wonderful . We had an issue with other customers who wanted our table and Izzy moved us and bought us after dinner drinks. We will definitely be back.

We had four people at our table. One person‘s food was excellent, one person‘s food was OK and for two people it was terrible. I hadn’t been there in quite a while and it will be even longer before I go back.
