L'Antica Trattoria est un restaurant chaleureux doté d'un sens de l'hospitalité à l'ancienne qui est rapidement devenu un lieu de rassemblement pour les convives de Lake Murray et du reste de San Francisco lorsqu'il a ouvert ses portes en 2001. Pour le chef exécutif et propriétaire Francesco Basile, une bonne cuisine se compose de saveurs authentiques, d'ingrédients frais et de simplicité. Le genre de plats qu'il mangeait dans son enfance sur le littoral de la Sicile et qu'il a appris à cuisinier dans son école culinaire en Italie. Pourquoi manger ordinaire ?     Consistently good food! I'm always pleased with my selection and portions are big enough for me to have leftovers for the next day!

    Always a wonderful experience. We really enjoyed our time with Levi. Will be back again to have wonderful Italian food at our favorite Italian restaurant. Thanks so much.

    This was our 5th time eating here and once again we had a great experience. We had Alessandra as our server and she made our dining experience so pleasant. She was very personable and sweet. She told us she was moving back to Italy so she will definitely be missed. Our first time here Heather’s great service and along with the quality of the food we knew we found a hidden gem. If you love Italian food this is a must try in the whole of San Diego.

    Great food as always. The bruschetta was outstanding as were the lasagna and gnocchi When it comes to Italian, this is always our top choice!

    Papardelle was 90% pasta and bits of guanciale - no sausage, meatballs, or braised and diced short ribs. Ripoff! Butternut Squash Ravioli and Tiramisu very good.

    Very nice restaurant in La Mesa , It is very good with friendly staff and made it through Covid also . I would recommend it to anyone

    Crowded, inattentive waiters, pork chop was tough, and tasteless. Veal piccata pieces were small and practically cold. We waited 45 minutes for our entrees to arrive. And after being ignored by waiter, we left no tip. Haven’t done that in years.

    Prices are good, servers know the menu and are very attentive, and the food is excellent!!! Full bar service is available. They have outdoor seating, which is a nice option if you prefer eating outside. The only reason not to eat here, is if you just don’t like Italian food.

    Nice Italian restaurant with an excellent pork chop and carbonara. Missing some classics on the menu but seems like you can ask and they’ll make it, which is lovely.
