Haven’t been here during a holiday but this is supposed to be a high end restaurant. There were 4 tables around us that got their food before us- our waiter kept disappearing, got our main courses before our side dishes. It was all over the place. Never going during Mother’s Day.

Although the food itself was absolutely delicious, unfortunately two of the four of us became sick to our stomach after eating here. Not sure why???

I love this place but today for Mother’s Day they forgot my son’s entre and it took about 40 min to get someone’s attention. The man with glasses who looked like the Manager seemed bothered for getting his attention. I just canceled the meal since there was a time limit. Plus I noticed my waiter working the bar area and never returned.

It was a new place for us to try, and let me tell you; 100% will be back. Would have never thought even though it’s attached to the mall you’d get such a great experience for a date night. HIGHLY recommend this place!

Our server was very patient and helpful. The bussers were great!! Also very helpful. The glass noodles with mushrooms were delicious, an edomae-like undertone. A nice array of vegetarian offerings. I’ll be back to try the amazing looking cocktails on my next visit.

The place is huge , mediocre service, it’s over priced. I enjoy the desert though. It’s a fast food restaurant posing as fine dining experience. Nothing close to that though.

Our dinner at AnQi was delicious! We were seated quickly, but it did take awhile before someone came to take our drink and food orders. We weren’t in a rush so it didn’t bother us. For drinks, we had O’My Lychee and Red Cucumber, both very tasty! For dinner, we ordered Shrimp & Lobster Dumplings, Beef Tenderloin Satay Skewers, Salt & Pepper Calamari, AnQi Wok Shaken Beef, Crispy Orange Peel Chicken, An’s Famous Garlic Noodles, and An’s Famous Garlic Rice. There was nothing left - we ate every last bite. We ordered the Tableside Ice Cream for dessert, it came with a giant chocolate chip cookie, peanut brittle, and some fruit. I will say the table next to us ordered dessert long before us, and theirs came out when we were leaving, so they were a bit upset. It is on the pricier side so we typically come here for special occasions, but would recommend to others :)

Excellent food and great service. I wasn’t really dressed for the impromptu occasion, but the staff was still friendly and on it. Loved the garlic noodles and the dumpling appetizer. The cookie and ice cream show is well worth it, and the butter fish was unreal.

The food is always great here and I come here a lot. The service was a bit slow in the beginning. It took about 10- 15 minutes to get water in our glasses and to have someone come take a drink order. After that, it got a bit more standard and once ordered, the food came out in a good amount of time. Ambiance is amazing. I normally sit at the bar and eat so service is spot-on there so this was a bit unusual as I was in a group of 4 at a table in the dining room.

Our friends who had never been there were very impressed with the decor, food, and service. Anqi is definitely a place to go if you have a special occasion. As usual, the food was gourmet and delicious including a new item on the menu, mushroom rice, for the vegetarian in our group. The only drawback is the price-point but the wow factor is worth it. Here's what we ordered: Garlic noodles (a special-kitchen MUST) Brussels sprouts and cauliflower Mushroom rice Miso Butterfish Crispy orange chicken Steak and green beans and more Garlic noodles! For dessert: Table-side ice cream with cookie (wow factor for our friends) Warm beignets

Compared to our first dining experience at AnQi, this time was pleasant but not as strong in almost all aspects. We were placed at a table in the back by the bar, which wasn’t ideal. The service was prompt and the food was good, particularly the chicken shumai appetizer, but overall less impressive than the last time.

Best restaurant. Oc and Anaheim area no way around it Kiwi they got Wagyu tomahawk like Niku x so it’s outstanding love it 10/10

This place is terrible. The food is bland and forgettable. The servers don’t pay attention at all (no regard for allergies or even care to get your drink order right), and they’re painfully slow. There are 100 other places to eat in the area- don’t waste your money here.

The waiter was not attentive. I had to wait for a while to get help. The food tasted salty. I ordered the famous garlic noodles, which tasted like salt pot. Also, the Filet Magnon wrap appetizer is overrated and tastes overcooked.

The wait staff was very accommodating and seated us promptly. The waitress had a few suggestions to begin our meal and we went with one that was so good. There was as no hurry so we enjoyed our appetizer and then were ask d for the entree choice. My friend was served a glass of champagne to celebrate her birthday. Very nice touch!

Beautiful restaurant, this was a date night. We were seated next to two large parties, one with a young child who seemed unhappy. I found this disconcerting and unromantic. But we got our food and our server was cordial. Desserts were spectacular. Bill arrived I left a generous tip. Next time I’ll be more careful. On “date” night. Yes I’d go back but with specific instructions on where I’d like to be seated.

Wonderful pre-show dinner. We had a fabulous waiter that was both friendly and attentive. The butterfish and table-side ice cream were amazing!

Food was fantastic and everyone enjoyed their dish. This is my 2nd time to this restaurant in the past 4 weeks. But just like our 1st visit, the service wasn't great. On our first visit, the restaurant was understaffed and lunch for 3 took more than 2 hours and there was issues with delivery of food. This time they were not as busy, but towards the end the busser was TOO attentive and felt like he was rushing us even though the restaurant was empty. The busser hovered and cleared plates the minute someone finished, and he even tried to take away plates for some who weren't done. He brought out boxes even though not everyone was done eating, which pressured those who weren't done eating to rush. I had to remind them to take there time and no one but the busser was in a rush. While packing up our food the busser was hanging around like a vulture. My mother was tilting a plate to put food into a container and the busser was literally holding onto the plate WITH HER to snatch it away the millisecond she was done. Overall the busser was rude and inconsiderate and had no concept of personal space. The waitress was really nice, but never around when we needed her. Very disappointed in the service again. For the price and atmosphere of this restaurant, I expected much higher level of service.

Mongolian Lamb Chops were amazing. Grilled Shrimp and Garlic Noodles not so much. Shrimp were tiny and noodles were lukewarm. The waitress was less than attentive even before it got busier.

Fabulous atmosphere, Bon the Manager is so personable and a sweetheart, very nice guy, Shannon our Server was so terrific, we are going back with a large group of friends and Josh, the best bartender anywhere!!! We took a friend here for her birthday, and had a wonderful evening.

An Qi is always the Orange County representation of the Crustacean of Beverly Hills, with a little bit of modern and casual vibe. It is conveniently located right next to the Bloomingdales of South Coast Plaza . The food , as always and as consistent with the other A restaurants is good that includes their classic garlic noodles . We came here for dinner and service was excellent and the waiter ( I am sorry I forgot his name)’was excellent with his personality and his expertise on the menu. We had the usual that we usually order, including their cod. We had their signature garlic noodles of course, and we had my favorite king pao eggplants along with the usual starter salads. We wanted their signature crabs but it wasn’t available that day ( Monday evening) and apparently available only on certain days. Overall, the food was excellent, the service was impeccable, ambiance is really nice, location can’t be beat and the parking is easy being that it is inside Costa Mesa’s South Coadt Olaza. An Qi is my go to restaurant in Irange County for Asian foods for sure!

All the food we ordered was fabulous. Portions are very small so when we finished we wished we had ordered a fried rice. Skip the cocktails as they are nothing special. Already invited friends to join us for a return visit next month.

The service was impeccable, they are very kind and always give water refills without us having to even ask. The food is exquisite, very delicious and one of my favorites. The table side ice cream is a very unique experience and tastes amazing. Definitely recommend.

Great food and atmosphere. Very cold sitting at the bar, since the door is constantly open, but at least we got a seat.

Wonderful atmosphere great food don’t miss the garlic noodles which they are famous for and the ice cream that they make right at your table with nitrogen quite an experience
