This was a lovely place to eat for a special occasion. The food was really excellent. We especially enjoyed the Haggis Bonbons.

Great menu, service and relaxing vibe! Food was tasty, plentiful and there was a good amount of choices. Enjoyed chatting with the friendly, helpful wait staff.

Patrons sit very close to one another, privacy isn't possible. Noise was not an issue but we ate early so no crowd. We arrived for our reservation early and were quickly seated. Food was divine and staff very attentive

The food was ok, but very small size ( 20 gr of salmon for 14£) , the menu was poor and we spent definitively too much for a dinner (almost 300 € for 4 people drinking a single bottle of basic wine). I do not recommend it!

Many small portions can be shared so the diner gets to taste a good variety of dishes. Highly recommended. Lovely friendly staff who are not at all intrusive.

Lovely lunchtime option. From the warm welcome, the amazing shared bites and deserts everything was efficient and well timed. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend.

Service was okay. Food portions were small and pricey. I wouldn’t mind if it was good. The oysters were salty and not good quality. The crab was minimal and served on mushy bread. The haggis had more of a liver flavor than you normally expect. The Caesar salad was good. The cocktails were okay but small. Would I go back? Not a chance

We have chosen Angels with bagpipes to have our celebration lunch because of the proximity. We have sampled through few items on the menu and all been ready nice and beautiful presented. Delightful culinary experience. If you like to finish your meal on a sweet treat you would be better going somewhere else. Both desserts been unpleasant experience. The way how they been served was also quite bad. The venue itself was nice and bright. Good atmosphere overall and really attentive team.

We loved the food, and the ambience is nice and quite romantic. The portions were perhaps a touch small but absolutely delicious, we especially enjoyed the haggis bon bons and the trout. A bit pricey for what it is

The food was excellent but the server was not engaged with the experience. She said all plates are shareable which is not the case. You need to order a starter and main for each person which is fine but she should not be saying they are shareable and leading us differently. We had to order twice. She is costing the restaurant $$ by not promoting how and what to order. Perhaps she finds another engagement. Disappointing experience when the food is so good. Good luck.

Delicious food and wines and whiskies. excellent service, very accommodating and friendly with a clear passion for the restaurant. loved our banquette table at the front. wouldn't want to be seated downstairs. food is creatively cooked and presented ad tastes superb. thank you for a super evening.

Have been before and food was amazing but we were very disappointed last night. Less food and more cost. Not much choice for GF. Food was lukewarm and sparse. Not the best birthday meal we have had here

I would 100% go here again & would highly recommend. The starters & mains were delicious. Felt alittle let down by the desert. It was a lovely relaxing atmosphere.

Food was great but we were sat alone downstairs whilst tables were free upstairs. Wine wasn’t as cold as it should have been either. A little disappointed saved only by the food.
