Another fantastic experience. The new rib and shrimp walnut appetizer was fantastic. We enjoyed them immensely. We had the fig pizza, meatballs, and short rib ravioli were all delicious. Had such a relaxing and fun evening. Was exactly what we needed.

Lovely dinner at Angelo's Wine Bar. Do not miss the Honey Pecorino Spare Ribs - they were amazin! We also had the grilled salmon and drunken bucatini and both were delicious. Highly recommend.

This was my 2nd time here - both were excellent. The focaccia is what drew us back. Good portion and prices with some unique options. Gigi gave us great food and drink recommendations. Definitely will be going back!

I didn’t quite like how there was only one wait staff, I feel like it was a lot on her to tend to everyone. Over all good service, and decent pricing. I wish there was more flavor in the steak and eggs I had; the portion was solid, but I would’ve preferred to have slightly better marbling in the steak, maybe a little thicker as well. Their coffee was alright, I’d prefer my coffee to be a little more bold/darker in roast, uniquely enough, they serve with rock sugar on the saucer. Though, I would consider returning and trying other items on their menu.

Delicious brunch experience at this neighborhood gem that has been here since 1962! Delicious and nice variety of options on both food and beverage menus with a bottomless option for you hard-core brunchers! Why travel all the way downtown when you can have the downtown atmosphere without the downtown prices or attitude! This is our favorite neighborhood place and we always get fantastic service from Meaghan, Axel, Gigi, Alex & Mike! Check out their Sunday brunch or live music on Monday & Wednesday nights!

The restaurant/bar is well-situated. I like that you can make a reservation to sit at the bar. Not cramped, good crowd. It appeared as if there was only one person who took the orders at all the tables (non bar) although there seems to be other staff available. I was disappointed in my carbonara. Extremely heavy-handed on the sauce. Swimming in it actually. I carefully pulled my pasta out, let it drip before moving it to a plate. It was good amount of just sauce left...yuck. I would still recommend trying it since it is in the neighborhood in an area where there are extremely limited good choices. A mile away is Lincoln Square, but would love this place to continue.

The food was great--the risotto was delicious and we all loved it! The stuffed mushrooms, as always, were great! We loved the ambience and the atmosphere, as well as the crowd of people at the restaurant--the bar was totally full of people eating and drinking and enjoying themselves! We had a great time! And Gigi recommended an outstanding wine that we loved! Gigi's always great to have as a waitperson! Thanks, Gigi!

Pizza here was very flavorful with wonderful cheese and perfect crust for $17 . Enough for two . Delicious salad for $10 for two. The large screens playing a 1950s black and white movie added to the ambience. Carafe of wine for two was $28 . Barrel wine sauv blanc.

I've lived in the neighborhood for many years but this was only my second time at Angelo's. I love everything about this place. The staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable. The menu has many interesting selections in every category. The first time I was at Angelo's, I had the Stuffed Mushrooms appetizer with garlic, pecorino-romano, goat cheese, parsley, thyme, and breadcrumbs. For my entree I selected the Pasta Bolognese. Everything was delicious! The portions were large enough for me to take home leftovers. Last night I had the Baked Goat Cheese as an appetizer which consists of a spicy diavolo sauce, garlic oil, balsamic glaze, house pesto, grilled ciabatta and multigrain baguette. For my entree I chose the Drunken Bucatini with red wine, bolognese, fresh basil, and pecorino-romano. Again, everything was delicious! I'm looking forward to my next visit where I want to try their wine and cheese pairings (they have a sommelier on staff), or perhaps one of their pizzas. I would definitely recommend this place.

We love Angelo’s Wine Bar! It’s such a great little place to go for celebratory dinners and the food is amazing! Both times we’ve gone they’ve had black and white film that plays on the tv’s which adds to the ambiance.

This was our 3rd time there and it was a great experience just like the previous times. Food is always delicious, great cocktails, and wine. Service is always fantastic. Recommended and we’ll be back.

We had a fantastic dining experience! The food was delicious and Gigi, the sommelier offered amazing wine pairing suggestions for each dish. Each member of our party raved about the meal, wine, and cocktails. The service at Angelo’s is outstanding!

First visit. Food was good, especially Angelo's pizza. The server was very nice, but may have been too many things beyond being asked to serve. We had to flag them down twice to order drinks, then the food. They were busy bussing, serving, and whatever else the restaurant had him do; or they needed to figure out that attentiveness to the customer - at minimum acknowledgement is a key to service. Observing the server. they were earnest in doing a good job and may have been new.

Food came out slow. It was a sunday and minimal people there. 1 server for all the tables, not his fault. Kitchen was slow. Food was average. Wine is good, if you know what to order. Not impressed. One and done sort of place. Sorry was excited, but fell short.

The shareable plates were so good! We got the gnocchi, eggplant and cauliflower which were delicious! We also got the 3 olive pizza which was pretty good as well! Definitely get a few plates to share, it's all so good!

Great service, friendly staff and great ambiance! However, the food was not good at all and was not a good value. Bread with my entree (eggplant parm) was an extra charge and was literally one slice of "toast" cut in two... Really wanted to like it, but won't be back.

Angelo’s is our neighborhood go to. The staff is friendly, attentive and recognizes us. The food, drink & wine selections are top notch. Great for a date night or group outing with restaurant seating and for more casual drinks/dining, bar seating & high-top tables for two to four. In warmer months, they have a nice outdoor patio as well.

Great dinner spot! Extensive wine list, as well as a substantial food menu which included many gluten free options. Cozy space with live jazz music.

Angelo's is great - in theory. The last several times we have visited there have been only 1-2 people working who were simultaneously trying to wait on tables and make drinks despite there needing to be at least 4-6 serves and at least 2 bartenders. Yesterday, there was one woman serving all the tables and making all the drinks. There were a couple other people who brought food to tables and filled water glasses. But there is no way one person can provide adequate service to an almost full restaurant. Everyone who works there works hard, but it is typically a 15 minute wait to order a drink, to get that drink, to order food, to request a check, to get the check, to get the check back to sign, etc. And should you want a second drink or additional food... It makes it hard to fully enjoy the food, drinks, and ambiance when the extreme understaffing interferes with every aspect of the experience.

Nice little spot. You can tell a lot went into the renovations. The food was very tasty and priced right, though the restaurant overall was a bit loud - filled with a lot of TVs playing old movies, the basketball games, and a live (fantastic) jazz band. Great spot for pasta. Not a great place for quiet conversation.
