Andiamo Ristorante is a fine dining restaurant which offers authentic Italian cuisine. We are locally owned, and not affiliated with any chain restaurants. We are also the only authentic Italian restaurant in Austin, TX that has been recognized by the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce of Texas Inc.

We feature the freshest ingredients from local farmers' markets, and offer a seasonal menu in a traditional European-styled course, designed to pair beautifully with our extensive selection of prestigious Italian wines.

We host Monthly Wine Dinner events on every Last Tuesday - a four-course dinner with wine pairings, and different menus every month.

El lugar es agradable,el servicio es excelente pero en inglés y yo hablo español,lo cual se me hizo difícil a la hora de ordenar la comida, pero la mesera hizo bien su trabajo.

Team dinner of 8, we were seated right on time. Nice familiy-owned italian place with traditional menu items. Calamari was a bit too salty. Entrees were very nicely done. Desserts were average. Service was friendly if not inspiring. I'd eat here again, support your local business!

This is the sort of place where you want badly to become a regular, even if it's just for special occasions. The staff is as professional as the food is superb!

Wonderful waiter and experience. The dining room was quiet and beautiful. It felt like a true Italian experience. The food options were great and our server gave us some recommendations that we tried and they were phenomenal. This is easily one of the most authentic Italian dining spaces in Austin and the competition is not close. Great experience and great food. I can’t recommend this place more to my friends and family.

One of the few places that could take a table of 9 on a Saturday night. Eventually just six of us dined. Excellent service by Caleb - patient, attentive but not intrusive, light-humored, and knowledgeable. We all ordered pasta. The spaghetti a la carbonara was outstanding. My orrecchiette alla boscaiola was excellent… and plentiful. The wines are reasonably priced. Will definitely return. Worth the drive.

The quiet surroundings made for a pleasant family visit on a somewhat rainy evening. The wait person was very attentive and checked on a food question as well as bringing a small sample of wine to help make a decision between two bottles. The servings were of a slightly smaller proportion than many other restaurants but were quite adequate and seemed the perfect size.. A salad advertised as asparagus arrived with green beans instead and seemed to be a last minute substitution so perhaps the asparagus was used up. It was unfortunate as the I beans seemed to have been previously frozen and did not have the intended flavor as asparagus would have and took away from the enjoyment of the salad. The shared tiramisu was particularly delicious and different from other tiramisu preparations I have tasted as it was not as sweet and was prepared with the lady fingers facing across rather that up and down. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable evening.

We originally arrived at Andiamo, at 6:35pm, as a walk in. We weee told that there was no availability for us for the entire evening due to reservations. I didn’t get the lady’s name at arrival. I checked my Open Table app for additional options in the area and Andiamo surprisingly showed availability at 7:45 pm. I put in my reservation for 7:45pm. We arrived back at the restaurant and the greeted said “oh you all are back”. I indicated that we had a reservation this time and she confirmed us at 7:45pm. She also mentioned that she had availability now but I was confused as to why she didn’t mention this earlier or even offer the option to dine at a later time since there were several table available when we arrived. Not a very good impression or initial experience. Our server was attentive and provided good but not exceptional service. He had to return to the table because the chef had an issue with one of our orders and preferred to prepare a dish to his liking and not ours. The dish ended up being OK but not worthy of further comment. I personally ordered the scallop and pea puree special. The pea purée was well prepared and textured but the scallops were overcooked and too salty. The salads were good and the bread was also a nice surprise. Being well traveled, I would say it is a stretch to call Andiamo “authentic” but due to ingredient and food purveyors products, it is really hard to accomplish a true “authentic” menu design and taste. Overall the food was good but I’m sure there are better options in the area for the price. I felt the service and food quality did not meet the final cost of $202.00 with a party of four with one being a child and the other an elderly lady that shared a plate. We will not return to Andiamo in the future and will seek another alternative that meets the expectation, service, quality and value that Andiamo assumes but ultimately missed during our experience.
