Amrheins has been a Boston tradition since 1890. For over a century, diners throughout the city of Boston have been welcomed into Amrheins to enjoy quality meals amongst friends and neighbors. Today that tradition continues in our updated facility. Despite the renovations in 2005, Amrheins is still full of history. Amrheins is the proud home of the oldest hand carved bar in America and still has the first Draft Beer pump in Boston on display. But what really makes Amrheins special is its dedication to quality cuisine and superior service. We hope that you join us again soon.

Would not go back. Food was mediocre pub food. No real ambience.

Our server Vickie was wonderful and so much fun! The food was great too. Highly recommend for a taste of Boston.

Renee, our server, made our day. She was comical, fun, and added to the dinner experience. The food our entire party enjoyed the food. Good choice. Stop in if you are in the neighborhood.

Our server was amazing. Guys liked their burgers. Women ordered pasta with tomato sauce and it needs a little help. The sauce is jarred and the chicken was dry and tough and lacked flavor. It’s in a great location with an old town feel.

We were celebrating a birthday and our server, Renee, thoughtfully put a candle in the dessert and serenaded us with a "Happy Birthday". She is a really attemtive server and made us feel very welcome. Be sure to request her. Food was excellent.

Egg sandwich, the egg was cold to the touch. Potatoes ice cold Must of sat there an awful long time

We were seated at a dirty table that wasn’t wiped down. Took 15 minutes before waitress took our drink and app order. 45 minutes for appetizers to be served. Food was sub par and overcooked and overpriced
