Amazing location, fantastic food and service, would definitely recommend dining here. Met a lot of locals at the restaurant and had great conversation throughout the night.

Food was good. Loved the seafood. Service was OK but at times slow to remove finished plates. Also would have been nice for them to have come around at the start to explain drink options and welcome the customers.

The service was exceptional. The food was delicious especially the presentation! The decor and ambiance was beautiful and I love that you have round tables!! It’s so much nicer to visit at a round! Great experience overall.

Food was good, and atmosphere is lovely. Service was not good, waitress was slow in checking on us and putting our orders through so the food did not come out in a timely manner or seamlessly and we found ourselves waiting a while between courses. Very disappointed that waitress did not acknowledge my booking request; I had booked the table for my husbands birthday celebration and selected this on the open table booking. I also added in the bookin to write a happy birthday note on the dessert when it came out to surprise my husband, but this did not happen and it seemed the waitress didn’t look at the reservation all together. Overall disappointing service, which ruined the experience for us.

Sat down, waited 29 minutes and never got service. Restaurant was not busy. Saw servers walk by and never stopped to serve us so we left.

The food was delicious but we had to wait over an hour to get our meals. There were many parties that sat down after us but received their food waay earlier than we got ours. No one checked in on how we were doing after we got our meals and no acknowledgements were made for the delay. I’d return for the food but the service was quite questionable and frustrating

Service was poor: Waiter had an annoyed tone when talking to us at almost every given time. At one point he said “I can come back” with a rolled eye as we were ordering only because there was one quick clarification among us at the table (it was a quick check between two people ordering something similar and the restaurant was not busy at all). I was not asked how I wanted my poached egg. Waiter did not know if there were alternatives to pork and seemed annoyed that we even asked. Food was ok: Waffles were dry. Scrambled eggs were cold in the breakfast charcuterie board.

Wonderful waiter, very receptive to our needs and always refilled drinks promptly. The food is delicious and of quality. This is my second time there and the service and food have been consistent. Lovely place for a date night or quiet girls dinner.

Overall pretty good though nothing spectacular. Let them know we had a special birthday (70th) and they didn't go out of their way for that, so just had a normal meal.

Got put into a side room which wasn't nearly as nice as the main room. I had reservation weeks in advance and was a little disappointed we did have the main room.

Most of the food is good except the risotto and desert. For $335 a meal, i kinda expected it to be better. Desert is all cakes and it’s mediocre. Service is exceptional though.

The food was fantastic, our server Nikita was attentive, informative and an absolute delight. The restaurant provided a special dessert to our guest of honour, as it was her birthday, without being asked. We had an amazing evening, thank you to all involved.

First time here on a date. Ordered cocktails with an appetizer and shared charcuterie. We were both not able to enjoy our cocktail of choice as we were informed there was a missing ingredient, therefore having to choose a new drink. Secondly, the appetizer we ordered, Octopus, I asked the server if the method used to cook it would have it still be chewy and was told no. Although the dish itself had wonderful flavour, it was in fact very chewy, and so again unimpressed. Ordered the charcuterie where you’re able to pick the items yourself. Server came back and notified us for a second time that certain choosing were unavailable as they were out. Other pairings on our board both substitutes and ones available were subpar. Flatbread was the only vessel available and was heavy and upon telling the server this after the meal, was told we could have asked for the smaller crostinis that they serve typically with their mussels dish. The server was very pleasant all in all but perhaps a bit unknowledgeable with regards to the food, seems there was a lack of communication with in the kitchen to make aware to the servers that certain items were not available. The atmosphere could have been more enjoyable had there been some soft music otherwise you’re only overhearing music playing closer to the bar and private rooms.

Ampersand27 was such a lovely experience. I went with a friend, and neither of us had been there before, but it did not disappoint! The food and drinks were amazing; the service was quick, professional, and friendly; and the restaurant itself was one of the most lovely I’ve ever been in. The overall ambiance is so peaceful, and the lights and décor make the entire place just nice to exist in. While the meal itself was definitely on the expensive end, for an occasional night out, it is totally worth the experience.

Overall, our whole experience was excellent. The only moderate disappointment was my Lasagna came to me lukewarm at best. I should add it still tasted excellent even if it was lukewarm.

Cozy ambiance. Service was amazing. I had a couple of cocktails “Two Timing Tammy”, which were delicious. My husband had a Shirley Temple, which was good. We started with the octopus and muscles. The muscles were amazing 10/10. For mains, I had the chicken and mushroom risotto, and my husband had the beef short rib. Amazing meal that hit all the high notes. Will dine there again. Thank you!

As soon as you walk in you are greeted by a warm smoky aroma. We had a wonderful server who had such grace, she added to our evening in wonderful subtle ways. We shared a table full of appetizers and a margherita pizza and were not disappointed. My daughter and I keep coming back to share a plate of mussels. We hope to see you again soon Ampersand &27

The food is horrible and for $250 for 2 I expected it to be much better. The pork belly made me want to puke. Chicken was flavorless and the Risotto was bland. Both available dessert options tasted like something found in the supermarket. We were place in an ugly partition portion of the restaurant. Only positive is the exceptional service. I would not recommend.

We were so excited that we could just walk through the lobby of our hotel (Varscona) to the restaurant, and that they had a special menu for New Years Eve. There is a very nice touch of having a complimentary "wine tasting" from 5-7pm--which is not really a tasting, but a full glass of red or white wine--thank you for that! NYE dinner started with a class of prosecco--nice touch! We had our choice between 4 appetizers and 4 entrées, and 2 desserts. When I made the reservation (a week before) the website mentioned the prix fixe menu for that night, but it wasn't up yet and there was no price listed that I could see. The menu was up by the time we checked again--midday yesterday, but still no price--no big deal, we expected it would be $80-100 pp--which is was. Wine bottles were 20% off--another nice surprise. My biggest complaint, and it's not really much of a complaint, was that the portions were a bit small--and no bread at the table. If we were really hungry (which fortunately, we weren't) it would have been a bit of a disappointment.

Went for New Year’s Eve for the fixed menu. Great selection and food was amazing. Service was great. The upholstery is showing its age though

Not as much flavour as I’d hoped considering the price of the food. The braised short ribs were very tender but the Dr Pepper glaze was meh. The Pom Pom chicken was very tender and juicy but there was a lot of it and after a while it became one note.
